Welcome to the FTE Missouri chapter and to get free advice you have to tell what kind of truck you have.
If we have to read your mind to give you advice, there is a 5 dollar service charge. Earthquake68 charges more cause he is really good at reading minds and giving truck mod advice, lol.
Well I have 06 F150 lariat 4x4 super crew. Soon I'll be leveling it out just don't know what kit I should get or what size tires. I already know I want toyo open country m/t. Just not for sure what size I could fit on a 2" leveling kit.
Hello guys! Many of you already know me from the '73-'79 forums. (I am surprised there are so many of you guys that have older trucks out here, as I have yet to see one on the road)
My name is Anthony, and I just turned 19 on the 16th. (I went to a Heart & Led Zeppelin Experience concert at the Verizon Amphitheater in Maryland Heights. I also saw and met Christopher Cross, Gary Wright, Orleans and many others at a more local venue for my Birthday as well)
I'm still getting used to this whole safety inspection crap you guys got out here...
I am also not accustomed to it pouring rain out of the middle of nowhere in Summer at night. (Have been caught working in it several times)
I still have my '76 F-350, it's at my friends place in CA.
My grandfather has a '00 Eddie Bauer Expedition 4x4 with every option available. I've drove it a coupe times. I am working on getting him to sell his old GM crew truck and upgrade it with a newer F-150.
Anyways, it does feel good to be home. I should have done this sooner, but I have been so busy with school starting up and the like...
If you didn't pick up on what RC said, he called the dentsides "newer" trucks.
I have a couple myself. Alice made a lap through your neck of the woods a few months ago when I went to pick up a car for another member. I also just bought Ka'Bluey back. (The truck was a member of the club as much as the owner was.)
Welcome to chapter and don't forget to stop by the monthly B.S. thread and tell us what you're up to!
Hi all, I'm Dan from Central Missouri. Just bought my 2004 F250 XLT Super Duty V10 Crew Cab Truck. I'm calling her "Ruby".
I'm her 2nd owner, as soon as I got her I had A Rhino Liner, tri-fold hard cover and remote start put on.
I also ordered the X3 tuner kit from 5startuning and can't wait to see if I can improve her MPG since she's going to be my daily driver.
I'm so happy to see so many members near my area, I'm centrally located north of Rolla, south of Jefferson City in Vienna, MO.
I'm a network consultant and web developer by trade, self employed with my own business since 2004.
I've already learnt a lot from reading these forums, and can't wait to learn more.
While computers come easy to me, mechanics is pretty foreign to me. I tend to be more focused on the electronics and accessories over the horsepower and off-roading.
My plan is to purchase an RV in the next year or so, and I look forward to pulling it with Ruby.
I'm a big guy (6'5") and am really happy to finally be in a vehicle that fits me so well. I'd love any advice on improving my Ruby's gas mileage or comfort for myself and my family.
Thanks!
Howdy Dan and welcome to the FTE Missouri chapter. We are a small group of Ford truck folks, but get together (G2G) every so often and help when and where we can.
Stop on by the monthly chat and BS thread, we all hang out in there and keep tabs on each other.
