Hey MO. I'm from just east of Jefferson City. Population 32, on Sunday mornings anyway. I just clicked join for the Missouri Chapter.
I'm putting some finishing touches on a 05 F250 SC 4X4 SRW 5.4 . Just the latest rehab project.
I've been visiting FTE for awhile and finally remembered to check out the chapter. I'll be hanging out more here although I have to question the judgment of any group that would have me.

That rules out Taos and The OC. Where you at? I'm in Russellville. Welcome to the forum.

I do live in Taos, although under protest. I am from the magnificent county of Osage in the Frankenstein area. I recently married a Taos native but our tentative plan is to raise our family back across the river.
To my friends and family I maintain that the DNA of an "outsider" would be good for any potential offspring and was a calculated part of my master plan. I see my temporary defection as a sacrifice for the greater good.
However, my detractors point out that the surprisingly small number of applicants for the position of Mrs. MOJoWales gave me little choice in the matter. These people lack my vision and mostly drive Chevy's .
In any case, she said yes, and we now live in Taos.
This ^ gets me into trouble with the in-laws. They don't take no lip from the likes of me . Go figure.
Actually my wife and her friends were part of the large group of Cole county that flocked across the river most weekends when we were younger. Something about the availability of gullible hicks who would shower them with attention, but I wouldn't know anything about that . For the record, my wife is the second of her close friends to be "captured" by an Osage heathen. The jury is still out on who got the better end of the deal.
I've punished my liver more than a few times in the greater Russelville area. Maybe we'll hoist a beverage together some time if we haven't already.
