Completed the latest recall 05E15. Picked the truck up at the dealership and drove over 1300 miles towing a car trailer. It ran good before. It runs great now.
The service ticket says they did the following:
Ex Pressure sensor replacement.
On-Board Diagnostic system and engine control module recalibration.

Like Larry The Cable Guy says... Get er done!

I got the 05E15 exhuast pressure sensor recall taken care of the 1st of last week and so far can't tell any difference, the truck was running fine before. They replaced the sensor and connector and reflashed and I was out in about an hour and a half. So here's hoping that that is all the recalls and eveybodies truck keeps running good.

I have ran thru 2 tanks of fuel since I had the recall done.

As with wesran, I see / feel no variance (+ or -) in truck performance from before. Truck ran great in the first place. Still does.

I was really hoping for increased MPG but, have had no impact either way. It remains my only complaint.

Testing over. Popping the wart tomorrow. Back to my old evil ways.

Haven't posted in some time, I have a 04/04 F250 with 19,000 miles and just had the recall done. Picked it up and it was much louder than before flash. No major issue, but you get used to what you have and when it's gone boy can I tell. One thing I'm hoping for is some of the mileage that some are getting. I was at 12-14 local and 15-16 highway @ 70mph/2000rpms, not complaining. The trans seems to shift alittle firmer than before. This is the 3rd recall and have had the RM replaced twice and several o-rings on the cam sensors replaced to stop oil leaks. Still love the truck, but wondering what Ford has become as of late. This is the 6th new Ford and the 1st that ever went to the shop. I guess I was due, but doesn't mean I have to like it. Love the site, look forward to reading about new 6.0 issues and the bantering that will come when the 6.4 hits the streets. I'll view this from Iraq, have to wait a year to wittness it first hand.

Yea...had the recall done a few weeks ago and now my truck is in the shop for the last 4 days...all they have told me is the starter went bad....not to mention the valve cover bolt which was about to fall out and having to drive my truck to the dealer an hour away in limp mode at 40mph. What a freakin lemon. 34,000 miles on it and in the shop like 15 times.

There is a new flash out for the 03-04 MY that is a universal calibration. Matt told me about it and it had just been put in my truck. Truck runs great seems to have slightly more power and it went from 15 mpg to 18mpg.

The flash came out about 3-4 weeks ago.
