My job is like most others, boring. But, my son has the ultimate job.
He is on a Nascar Nextel cup team, the #89 driven by Morgan Shepard.
He is acting crew chief right now. With a job like that I too would look forward to going to work each day!
i work in construction. mostly roads and sewers. right now i got the easy job watching the backhoe dig. i got a job with a good company and they are near my house so i'm happy.
Help my husband in a family run Historical Arms and Armour shop using traditional methods of hammer, anvil and coalfired forge. He started this 50 years ago and I have been married to him for the past 33. I decorate the weaponry, act as secretary, research and chief bottlewasher.
When not doing this, I act as admin and resident "Viking Answer Lady" on an offical PC/Mac Game website. Been doing this for the past five years now.

I sometimes jokingly refer to myself as a "damage and recovery specialist". I work for a trucking company on the loading dock, running a forklift, mostly, but also do some supervisory work/planning/paperwork for them as well.
In the past I've worked as a truck-driver(long and short haul, as well as city delivery), motorcycle/sled/atv/boat mechanic, construction(various aspects, mostly drywall, cement, or framing)
Born and raised farm boy, pretty much a jack of all trades.
custom marble and tile business. I create custom showers and baths with exotic tile and marble . 20 years straight get to see alot of nice homes and meet some great people.
I am a retired police officer. I now work a part time job in a local funeral home as their light maintenanceman. I also do small landscaping jobs in the summer to attempt to ward off the fat cells.

I'm a full-time student, and don't work much during the school year. In the summers I work maintenance at an assisted-living home. I do a lot of painting, plus most of the landscaping, some furniture moving, and whatever else needs to be done in a hurry. We hire out most of the big jobs, though, because there just aren't enough of us. Over winter break, my boss wants me to repaint all three stairwells in the 6-story building (walls, railings, and floors).
They pay me pretty well, and I meet a lot of very interesting people. It's a pretty pricy place, so many of the residents are well-to-do, and have done a lot in their lives.
