I tried telling the service mgr that its in the transmission. Told him your working on my truck and making it WORSE!. I read a post in here about someone that can feel it in there seats and floor. I also feel it in seats and floor. 3 driveshafts, dampering kit, roadforce tires, realined trans with rearend. Service mgr said they won't work on it anymore unless something breaks. They never check trans or rearend just put on driveshafts. Day after last time in dealership took it in for oil change the rear tires were at about 50 psi.FSE and service mgr both feel it is fix. Fix to them because they don't have to drive it.Travel on highway everyday to work. feel vibration everyday.
and no Im not crazy. love the truck not the vibration.
I agree it's in the tranny, in mine the strongest vibrations are felt in ranges 25-30, 45-60, 75up. what else operates in ranges than the tranny, stop screwing around with then.. apply for lemon law, and DSB, I did both at the same time.
and remember documentation is the trump card.. write it all down, record messages left, keep and copy all documents..
It seems as though there are enough people with vibration problems that this is a design flaw on Ford's end, not sloppy manufacturing. What I dont get though is if it is a design flaw why would one truck have this problem and then another truck exactly the same wouldnt. I dont understand this, anybody have any ideas? Thanks
What tires are you all running, with the problems? I just had my BFGs swapped out by the dealer (had been road forced). I have the Goodyears now, and a TON of the road noise has gone away on my truck. The bed moves far less, I dont have any residuals in the seat or floor pan, and it corners better. Just something to think about.
I've got the BFG 275/65/18's, but I also have a significant vibration around 25 mph, at that speed I don't believe that the tires are spinning fast enough to cause a heavy vibration,
