My Greensalt operator has a cheerleader daughter and was debating about making the "long" drive up there. He says this is the only one they have a good chance of winning this season.
I'm a transplanted person to the area without kids. I grew up in a smaller town: Marshfield, MO (just 45 min from Bass Pro actually). Add the fact I'm being re-activated by the Army, and you can see have have few ties to the area.

Headed to Sierra Vista, AZ November 2. "RangerEd" came from my last job.

Agreed, sometimes the only thing I do is type work orders and answer phone calls of strange stuff. Tonight it's so dead around here that I've been here for alrge part of the night. Peppy your in emergency medical calls or something, what's the strangest and funniest call you've had.

Marshfield, MO, close to Lebanon I believe. Correct? I go to Bennett Springs four or five times a year, sometimes more sometimes less. Same for Murphy, if they have a chance it will be this week, but I think Massac has the win if they just show up, Murphy is absolutely horrible the few years.

Haven't missed too much. We've only solved half of the world's problems. We would have solved the other half but then our supervisors would expect that much work out of us all the time. LOL

We MUST uphold the status quo or face the consequences, you understand. The AFL-CIO sets the tempo here!

BirdHunter,
Ever go to Ha-Ha Tonka. That place used to be very cool. I went there the first weekend the leaves changed every autumn through college (UM-Rolla, EE '99)

Sorry, calls came in.......
Well, I've been Fire/EMS better part of 15 years.....srtaight from high school to the academy. Before I got a desk job(another story).........I was on a big red truck.
A few things tripped me out. One was a younger girl.....bored and lonely I guess....called 911 because her house was on fire. So off we go......get there....nothing showing. Knock on the door....she answers in all her cuteness, and nothing else......asking us....who wants to put out my fire. In your early 20's.....its hard to hold your composure. We left it to the officer on scene.
I know, you expected something more dramatic.

The folks I work with have 2 speeds. Slow and stop. They're stuck in stop.

heaven forbit if you have a thought, someone might faint.
Just avoid logic, it causes confusion, and mass suicide.

Between Lebanon and Springfield isn't it, that would just about be halfway I think. Or is it 30 miles outside of St. Louis?
I assume you train Army Ranger's. Ranger Education?
