I can relate to the situation: getting handed something that is above your pay grade to fix. What do they expect when you don't have the authority to make something happen? I usually just put the situation in safe-mode and wait further instructions, i.e.: shut it all down and go home at the 16 hour mark in your case. That tends to get the appropriate level of attention and is fully justified from a safety stand-point.
Howdy fellers, I'll be signing in for the night butthe first two hours I'll be in and out of here so no quick responses probably. Sounds like you're all going good already and full of fire.
The quail release I was talking about yesterday went well this morning. Not all of them were back in the cage but enough were and I could hear the rest whistling nearby in the beans and the woods.
Congrats to all on the 500 mark. What should we set as out new goal. 1000 by the end of the week? 200 by morning? Peppy got any new research tonight? Bologna vs. salami sandwich for me.

Actually, no. Sadly, I have run out of ideas. Food is out of the question. I ate some nasty cheap chinease. My fault ofcourse. I said I would never go back.....man, I'm never goin back to that place.
I feel like I ate a cheap wallyworld car battery.
Like I said......I did it again. 3
Then again...might also be all the nasty stuff I ate on that 36 hr shift....and the shift itself.
Bologna vs. salami........salami. Last night I was eating hard salami and cream cheese half the night.
I'm back. It's time to liven up this road show. Pep that was a pretty cool thread on an FTE eevnt get together or something. If it were in KS or MO area I would probably go. If they had it in Springfield I'd be there for sure. We could get Ranger to show us around to all the stuff that tourists just can't find, we could even take a float trip down the Niangua to view the scenery.

I'd be in as well. I could show you some sights and take a look for myself how things have changed.
If you wanted to head to Paducah, I could show you my house: it's FSBO!
I might take you up on that offer in a while. But coming up I'm moving my grandmother who just sold her house. The assisted living place she is moving into won't be ready till early Nov. and the guy who bought the house is closing the 18th of Oct. Soooo, she is moving in with one of my aunts so I'll actually be moving her twice. Fit that in with farm work coming up, firewood chores and the fact that I'd like to go hunting one of these days, so like I said it could be a while.
Well, I am turnign in tonight, I have a test in a few hours, and I should have studied for it yesterday...but I couldn't if you read any of the last two threads I posted...ya'll will know why. Anyways, I am figurin as I can get a good 4 hours sleep 'fore the morn.....and DANGIT when I am tired my accent poors into my typing...oh well, ya'll have a good'n
Have a good one and good luck on the test. I showed up for an honors macroeconomics test once and forgot we were having one...took it ice cold. The instructor was cool about it and offered to let me skip out and take it the next day for a 10% penalty, but I just winged it. Ended up with a mid-eighty. No point to that story; just sharing.
Rats, looks like I missed out on tonight's discussion. I've been cleaning up the garage a bit. Oh well, I'm heading off to bed. G'night, all. And Mike!
