I get odd looks when I'm out with my kid and niece. Mine will be 18 next month, the niece is 17. I can step back and say, without that pride thing, that both of them are scary pretty. Dont know how it happened. Brunette and a blonde.
I dont look old enough to be their father......and not young enough to be acceptable if you know what I mean. People get wierd.
Should I go ahead and call whitey's. Tell them to order in more supplies Peppy. Just found out that I will be working at 72 hours a week for the next 2-3 months if not longer. Must save money. NO EBAY!
See Bird......I'm not the only freak!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Watch yourself Ryan.......your not replacing me here at my job are ya? The hours are right.
I used to drink quite regularly every night. Went and got a DUI, so I quit drinking. To ease that craving I started to pick up a few hours to help with the fines and such. After a while I had no desire to drink but have since developed a depenpency on my work. It's like i'm addicted to my work and can't stand not to be here.
WHen you work these kind of hours you have to listen to your body, get your rest and take care. Because it creeps up on you and will wipe you out for about 2 weeks. It being fatigue,Flu/cold and for some depression. I have bouts where I just can't stand to be in the place, than again there is times I just can't stand to be home.
Thanks Mike.......................
Man, its never been this busy.....am I the only one getting confused?
This is cool. Back to the old internet bar feeling from the beginning.
I think I've been bad....I was teasin Hailstone.....I think he got mad and ran off.
If thats the case...my apologies.
Its weird how workin tons of hours sucks....till you get in the groove. Suddenly you find yourself needing it. Maybe its just me. I actually showed up an hour early tonight. My old routine has been overtaken by all work.....didnt know what else to do.
Yea.......I sure do. I get tired, cranky, lose weight, mood swings.
In no way is working like this good for you. Builds character, my ***.
Yes, it has been busy tonight. I don't work the hours that you guys do but I feel that I have no life besides work and FTE. I never find time to get stuff done except for the weekends.

I think you kind of get used to it. Like when I was going on 2-3 hours of sleep on most weeknights for two years in high school... I just, got used to it I guess. I was pretty tired when driving... dangerous, I know... won't do that anymore.

Lucky for me.......at work, I do more FTE than I do work. I have a pile of stuff to do......since I'm stuck till 10am......use it for busy work when the suits start rolling in around 7.
Hey Pep, if you are serious about coming through Illinois let me know. Admission is cheap for you, just bring that pretty 18 year old daughter and I'll take her off your hands and take real good care of her, as long as she can put up with a dog that rules the roost and likes living away from civilization. Only as long as she drives a Ford of course.
