Not at all......Fernald is on the nw side of Cincy...closed weapons grade plant currently, and forever under the superfund cleanup. I hear the place is a disaster. The other place was always like a urban legend....kinda......radioactive trucks always coming and going......but no one knew exactly what.

Taz, I resent that comment. I have had very little going on tonight and I've been here reguraly. Where've you been, asleep? LOL

BTW Ranger ED, welcome to Southern IL, home of the land that's screwed over by Chicago. Have you got to meet the dumb people yet, I think we're also home to some of the brightest and most brilliant as well.

Kinda like that. We ran into a couple staffing problems. I'm the one stuck with the whole weekend. The only one willing to step up to the plate. Actauly I will end up with 72+ hours this week. I'll be back again tonight.

Well, I was wrong then..."natural" uranium has very low 235 isotope (the stuff that makes the energy), mostly just 238. You must have mentioned an enrichment facility. They enrich the uranium to higher 235 levels.

FYI: our product is only enriched and used for power plant applications, according to the NRC

The nuclear fuel cycle makes for good reading with Google.

Oh yea.....once I get it gear...I'm good to go. No lie......my longest is 72.5 hours out of 76 awake. Just a few months ago. Its kinda fun, like an adventure once you get the groove on. When I get home this morning, I'l have to hit some Benedryl to sleep......bodies on the drive. Gotta turn it off somehow.

Worst I've had here is 84+ and it sucked. 7 days of 12s with a meeting or two thrown in for good measure. Meetings...
