Yes you can.
This is one of the better options that the Flashpaq provides.
We all know how many times these 6.0L have been updated.

So I have heard that I need to change my exhaust before I reprogram my 6.0L with my superchips. Is that true, will the stock exhaust be too small, EGT to high? I'm not looking into the performance setting, just better mpg. I'm driving out of state in a few weeks and don't want to harm my truck by reprograming it with out exhaust.

It will work but will run hot. I've run stock exhaust on two trucks and you have to back out when the egt creeps up.

Glad you were ok after the accident!

Things are coming along better. The recovery is very painful. Mainly because I'm older now(grin). The hardest thing is that I can't drive my GT500 that I had 3 days before crash.
No it wasn't my main Exec-Bird it belonged to another company that rents it out for shooting commercials. The annual that had just been performed was rushed things were overlooked. Yes it's gonna be a long and nasty lawsuit! Getting around a little better, but ONLY with tons of meds. Thank God for Pain Killers. The skin grafts hurt the most!
Hopefully I will be able to get back out in my shop in another month to finish up my AirIntake/ZooDad project.

How was SEMA? Thanks for assisting my wife with the online stuff. I'll try and give you a call during one of my moments of clarity(grin).

I may have missed a post, but here goes, I have a 1704 tuner for my 05 F250 and have recently added factory 20 inch wheels and tires. Is there a way to change the tire diameter in the programming?

No, you'll need a flashpaq for that.

I just got a Superchips Flashpaq for my '06 6.0 and was wondering if I can install it in the second setting (economy mode) and use it for a while before I get my 4" turbo back exhaust? I will not be towing or getting on it hard. Would this be ok, or should I wait until I get the bucks for the exhaust?

It works great with the stock exhaust and was tested/tuned mostly on trucks with stock exhaust.

When you add exhaust, it will only get better =o)

I noticed that the tuners include transmission changes. Will they work on a manual transmission? Can I get by with older versions for less money without the transmisson upgrades? What should I use with a 6 speed handshake transmission? '06 F350 6.0, 3.73 gears, pulling 16,000# of hay on a fifth wheel for 1/2 of my miles!

Thanks for the reply. I'm going to give it a try and do the exhaust in a couple of weeks.
