Morning all,
Bathroom remodels are still under construction but I do have one that's useable.

Dave2 hope your closing goes well and you get the new place ready for fishing season.

Alan, no hurry just want ya to keep me in mind.

Not much shakn over here on the Eastside. Weather's cooler and I think we're gonna have a day or two without rain. That means I better get ready to mow.

Evening Everyone!

I started tinkering and getting things working again from sitting so long. I got some weed eating done in the ditches, I got the hauler fired up and moved, and a bunch of batteries charged. Also went and got a new pair of glasses since I broke my old ones last night. Little by little, I'll start in on the to-do list around here.

Good to have you back Alan. Enjoy your downtime.

The cat jumped on the bed at 2:30 this morning and woke me up. So I got up to go to the bathroom and could never really get back to sleep.
At 3:30 I figured I would be productive. Got a 4 mile run in and swapped out plugs on my truck. they were all very black. Going to check the points and condenser again. I assume the plugs were really fouled before I swapped the points. But I will check voltage at the points to make sure all is well there.
Now off to work and get onto some vendors about getting me a quote. I'm beginning to wonder if they want our money or not.

Morning folks, just getting closer to the Memorial Day weekend. I worked a short bit yesterday, then had to go to the walk in clinic to get my finger tip looked at. I have some sort of infection in the tip, because the redness and swelling has not gone down in 5 days.

We are for once (aginst my better judgement of getting on the US highways THIS weekend)..... going out of town this weekend. Sat AM we are heading to Penny's sisters place on Table Rock lake. They invited us and her other sister and hubby down also. But coming home Sunday to avoid crazy traffic.

Everyone have a safe rest of the week and a even safer weekend coming up.

Last day for me this week, and I'm off all next week. I have some Ford truck stuff planned if we don't have several days of rain.

Good Morning Everybody!

I have to make a steel run today. I have a few orders for winch bumpers and no steel to build them with. I guess it's back to the grindstone. At least this grindstone is in MY garage. At some point when it stops raining, I want to get my shop truck moving under it's own power again. It'll be nice to drive a dent again that doesn't have to be moved around in a tractor trailer.

Morning all,
Lots of chatter on the site today. Guess everyone's getting their stuff together for Memorial Day. I'm just planning on staying here and avoiding the craziness.
Got some mowing done yesterday and hope to finish the whole place today. I started out weed whacking and somehow found myself on the ZeroTurn. But without planning, ended up running outta gas. I actually stopped before I totally ran outta gas but didn't have near enough to finish. There's still lots of wet spots so I'm being careful to not get stuck.
Well I guess I gotta go get some gas and get back at it.
Take care, be safe, most of all enjoy your day.

I did our traveling last week end. Went to Omaha for a wedding. Finally getting to know the place again. Got back on I-44 and then 65 south and it was worse than the Omaha traffic I couldn't wait to get off the hwy.. While I was in Omaha I went to Speedway (the new china outlet store). Bought another set of headers for the model 8BA and they need a little work to fit same with the Fenton Cast Iron headers I have. I need to find someone that can help modify the steel headers. I would like to use the cast iron headers but just will not work without messing with the passenger side frame also grinding some off the drivers side (steering). I think this is the weed end for the street rods ? Good luck to all and have safe week end.

Well worked for five, and then got home and got more busy. 1st off lanced the giant yucky looking infected spot on my middle finger cuticle area. Now that feels much better. Chatted to Dave 2 for a bit. Then put a new battery in the back up/spare zero turn. And got it turn in a turn the key and start better condition. I am selling it to the SIL, and taking some $ off the price for him to install a 110V 1 ton mini split in the pool shed here real soon.

Got the Dodge to start, and took it for a fast lap. Going to Nevada tomorrow AM to meet a guy and get a fiberglass hood for the other Bronco. Going to grill out this evening and then going to stain the boards on the pool sheds west wall. Then they will go back up for good tomorrow afternoon.
