Morning folks, about to head to Spg and battle the forces of stupid drivers that should not be operating a motor vehicle.

Have a nice day.

Morning all,
I'm off to John Cochran VA hospital downtown for another therapy session. I like the fact that they just tell you exercises and then say "see ya in a month". Much better than the 3 times a week therapy I was doing before.
Remodeling is still going on. Tile guy has been here the last couple of days and has only got most of the on suite floor done. He ran outta tile so they're ordering more. Painting crew is painting the previously stained wooden doors. They prime them one day, paint them the next and then if needed put on a 2nd coat. One day I'll have the house back to me and the dog.
Didn't get back on the 56 yesterday and depending on traffic, time at my appointment and who knows what else I may not get to it today.
This time next week I'll be at the F100 Grand Nationals in Pigeon Forge, TN. LOTS of trucks to be seen there. My buddy that sells used parts quit going because Pigeon Forge wanted a cut of his sales. Even though he's kinda high on his parts his profit margin isn't that great considering gas prices, loading and unloading time plus having to man your spot for 3 days.
Well better shove off.

Good evening, twas a pretty nice day up here. We've eliminated 9 moles from our place so far this yr, I know the neighbor said he's got 'em pretty bad too so I doubt we're out of the woods with that nuisance but it's a start.

Moles.... and or pocket gophers, ground squirrels, voles, groundhogs (woodchucks). Even skunks and armadillo's are a pain in the yard/under the sheds around here. A cup of stright ammonia in the hole should help run them off. Even a good dose of pure cayenne pepper in and around the hole will help deter them. The higher the strength of any thing from the capsicum annuum family the better. You do not want the family dog sniffing around it for sure though.

good evening missouri... nothing new down my way, did not realize how many days i have missed again.. ..

bj i hope you get the cam lined out this time, the last y-block i rebuilt was in my 62 ranch wagon. dont really remember what or why , i replaced the timing chain and left the stock cam and gears if i remember right.. that was back in my budget building days... so a bit fuzzy..... like normal

trying to get all the plans worked out for the kids coming up for the summer.. so far it looks like johnn and his brother will be coming back with me after johnns graduation,, the two girls will have to spend another week until their school lets out. they will come up on the train on the 1st.. trying to get this worked out is harder than the logistics of moving the entire 23 tactical fighter wing from england afb louisana to ubon Thailand and tan son nhut Vietnam that took a lot less time... ha ha ha ha ha

anyone interested in having a gtg at my place and helping me get the 460 shoved into the 86 F250, just waiting on a C-6 a friend said he had laying around...

well the rest of ya'll have a good weekend and get those yards mowed and the pool rooms built...

RC I have not forgotten about you and the C-6/NP-205 request. I just need the X BIL and his skid steer to come over and pick it up out of its spot in the woods and to a place where I can load it with my overhead hoist. Or go from the skid steer direct to the back of the truck.....

Morning all. Holiday for me. Gwen just ran out the door for a Mother's day thing with the grandkids. It's way too early for her.
I have a coworker and my son coming over to work on the trucks. Then get the lawn mowed before the rain comes.

I haven't seen any mole sign in my yard yet this year.

Morning all,
Yesterday was a blurr but I must have done something other than my VA Appointment. But then again.... I was gonna try to wet a line yesterday but when I went to the shed to get my live crickets they were gone. Something ate them all, even the dead ones. I doubt it was a mole, vole, etc but something had a field day on them.
The painters finished up yesterday but after they left I noticed their white doesn't match the existing white trim.
Just doesn't seem like anything is going right this year so far.
Don't forget MOTHER'S DAY this Sunday. You need all the atta boys you can get since we share this F100 obsession.

Well it's been a while! been in and out and like other oldies, don't do well typing on the phone. We put a contract on a house in kimberling city close to the lake. just a 5 minute mule ride to the dock slip. Anything on the lake or with a view was 60 years old and needed lots of work. What good is a lake view if you're working so much you don't have time to look at it? So getting everything ready for close has been a time suck. House is new construction and a nice upgrade from our Pomme property which I'll be selling back to the ramaining partner. BJ I'm hopeful you're on to something with this y block thing! never heard of the ammonia trick for moles but sounds right. I'll get a chance before end of summer to try it I'm sure. Neither of my neighbors do jack on their yards so they usually travel into my yard. I've never been very successful with the traps, poison peanuts/worms/anything. Cleaning Carletta up today for a car show in Festus tomorrow. Probably see some car show buds I haven't seen since last fall. Have a great weekend, and take care of momma!

We're in Kearney, Mo. William graduated high school tonight. Some of you OMRers know William. Tomorrow afternoon is a graduation party. Meredith says she has 100 positive RSVP's. I'm not sure that I know 100 people.

Anyway y'all take care.

Morning all.
got some good shop time yesterday. My coworker and my son spent the morning working on my 292 and Sam’s truck.
did a lot of parts cleaning and we got the carb back in Sam’s truck. Now we have the fuel pump apart because it was leaking.

went to mow the lawn and the plastic cover over the internet fiber sucked up into the blades along with the fiber cable. They are coming out today and said the will be charged. I’m sure the people that did the dig rite marking loosened the top. What a pain. At least they are coming out today to fix it.

I think I may try spraying the whole S side of the property with ammonia & let it soak in...
Looks like we're going to look at furniture this morning, I owe the wife a new couch as part of the deal where she agreed to allow me to get the new HD motorcycle.
Have a good day fellas.
