would the mustang mounts work? I would think they would, being the motors were the same, then again they might have some type of difference.

take a look and see if the ones in that link aren't like yours, they are $30 +/-.

nothing like them. the rubber is round and the point straight down. but i think i could just wrap a chain around the crossmember and the mount and chain it tight just for a quick fix until i get the money. i will post more pics when i get some new batteries for the cam.

Gonna be a diesel mechanic, huh? Sounds like a good idea, congratulations! A few years you'll be making all kinds a money, and who knows, by then you might be trying to put a diesel motor into that t-bird. Well you have the mounts ready so, all you have left is what? Switch them out. Getting closer everyday, later

ok i am going to drop the motor in day after christmas. i took the ball mount think off of the aod and welded it to the c5 shift lever. not i just need do make a mount to hold the cable tight and straight. i am just going to use the old shifter and just fell for the gears until i get the money to get the b&m cable. i need to change the rubber on the steering shaft but i think i may just weld it solid since right now i am poor and nobody wants to hire anybody right now. do i am rigging everything but that's ok if it works go with it. i have a friend that works at napa doing my power steering pulley for free. i wanna know if there is any way i can bypass the in tank pump just by running a pickup tube before the pump and then into the tank. i don't wanna have to find a different sending unit. i just wanna bypass and suck some fuel.

Glad to see you have it coming together. You could rig up something to draw fuel from the tank, like you mentioned. Well, again good luck, and will take a look at those pix. I saw a commercial for a new automotive show the other day, and I am almost certain, there was a lamborgini that had a similar color as your car in the background. Does that mean anything to you? Probably not. Just thought I would share. later
