I’m planning on something like that for winter storage. But, it’s not an option for the Diamond Lake trip. I’ve got to take some additional measurements in the morning. Thinking maybe 4x6’s or 4x8……
Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 28 degrees and mostly clear.
Got to take measurements on the trailer yet, but I'm thinking that maybe a 4X6 or a 4X8 laid across the trailer on or cut to fit just inside the rails on the side of the trailer just might do the trick. Looking at that later today.
Swapping out the Stingray for a trolling plate on the boat motor is on the agenda first. Decided I didn't want to have to maneuver around the extra tank on the boat deck so I took the kicker motor off along with the 50:1 mixed tank taking up deck space. Until I can find an affordable 15 HP 4 stoke, the trolling plate will have to do. We haven't been trolling much anyway, so we miss a whole lot if the trolling plate doesn't keep the speed down enough.
Tried paying off the last two loans from two credit unions this morning. What a PIA. Had always been able to work pretty easily online with them. Not today. It’s like pay off is a bad word. They wanted me to come in, in person, with a certified check or mail it in. In the meantime interest keeps building daily. In the past we were able to do it on line with a 7 day window on interest accrual.
Got some PM’s done on the boat. Trolling plate added, props and lower including skeg painted & all greased up.
Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 35 just before sunup this morning. Huge frog sitting on grass at front porch and the dogs were enamored with it. Suns up and temp is up to 53 and climbing pretty quickly. Frog has continued on his journey to I do not know where.
