Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Long day today. Left for Bend around 0650. Dropped the Ridge and trailer off at Mountain View Motorsports at 0755 and headed to Black Bear Diner for breakfast. After Breakfast we stopped at Wild Horse Kawasaki to check on some parts and the Kawasaki snow plow with Hydraulic actuator. We’ll probably be seeing them the end of July - first of Aug.. Then it was off to Lowe’s for 2” PVC, of which they had none. The Warden did find some plants she couldn’t live without…
So, then it was off to Home Depot. Warden stayed in the Pickup with the dogs. Home Depot had the 2” PVC 10’ sections. I also picked up some more PVC primer and cement. Then it was off to Costco for milk, dog & cat food and diesel. Then it was Harbor freight for a trailer jack wheel which they did not have in a sufficient enough weight rating. From there it was off to Wally World for Repel 40% feet.
Then, around 1630, Courtney called and the Kawasaki was ready to pickup. Got the Kow picked up, loaded on the trailer and headed home.
Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Up to 59 already. A 25° jump in 2 hours. Dog's have been for a swim and now onto bookwork, irrigation system, camper prep etc., etc....
Happy Friday Oregon! I had a major victory yesterday. Miracle fix for my 4x4 system yesterday! Refurbished the transfer case control module and was successful! I love a no-cost repair!!
In for a break. Getting warm out there, especially for physical labor. 71 currently. Need to get some book work caught up, then it will be off to do the repairs on the irrigation system after lunch.
Steve - Free is always a very good repair cost!!
Took the .17 HMR out and set it up on its bipod on the hot tub. Sage Rats drilled a hole and reopened the den I had wiped out and filled in last year. The area was devoid of Sage Rats since last July. Now they are back. One of the problems with this particular borough is that it undermines a big concrete slab/landing outside the west personnel door on the pole barn. I don't need that cracking or breaking up due to the undermining of those varmints.
Well, 3 of them will not be causing any problems again. Two out of a couple of holes and one at the big problem concrete slab. He actually came full out of the hole and was standing up prairie dog style on the concrete slab. If there is no sign of activity in the next 24 hours, I'll fill everything back in and re-berm the slab.
Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. It was 29 at 0530 this morning. It's up to 57 now. I've been afraid to walk over to the garden and see what it looks like. I don't think the plants are hardy enough to withstand that yet.
