Good night Chris, Jim and the rest of the Oregon crew!

Jim, Nice to read that they got it figured out why you were being moderated. And did I read the IRS is refunding you some money?

Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Dog walk at 31° this morning. They just couldn't wait for it to warm up to the current 48°. Pretty blue skies overhead. Some scattered Cirrocumulus Clouds were headed our way but they are going by way North of us.

On the mod stuff it was an anti-spam feature. They thought it was automatically triggering on the proper spelling of 'tore - ren - tial". So I guess until they get that tweaked, it would be best just to say really heavy rain.

As to the IRS, nothing in writing yet so, we'll see. The verbal word I got from the IRS Center in Bend is that the Lead Supervisor took the case on himself and has gotten things straightened out. So our problems with the IRS should be over. But again, after the 14 months of battle, I'm not believing anything until I have a written letter in my hand.
The $638 Oregon Income Taxe Refund they improperly seized (and Oregon DOR unlawfully sent to them) should be coming back to us in "4 to 6 weeks". Any over payment of the Federal Advanced Tax payments made in 2023 should be 3 to 4 weeks. I doubt the Federal amount will be much more than $30 to $40. The refund from the State, if you want to call it that, would be the State Income Tax refund that the IRS seized from the us via a Leavy or Lein they had sent to the Oregon Department of Revenue. At the time, our IRS account had renewed lock (as they call it) as of February 15th, on any liens, levies or attachments to any assets pending completion of the investigations as to why the 2023 Advanced Tax Payments. So, interest would continue to accumulate, but they couldn't come after any of our assets.

I will add that as of a couple of days ago, the IRS has removed all account information from our account web site with a banner saying that an account adjustment is under review and that information will not be available until the review is completed.

Holding out hope that this has now been completed, I have cancelled the reservation on the moving trucks and have ceased our search for a luxury Homeless Camp.

Good afternoon Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Have to make a trip into La Pine in a few. Need to drop a package off at the UPS drop point and see if I can find some 4 small pavers. I want to keep the legs of the Wardens planter up off the ground.

Had an intruder break in at the Rec/Storage building this morning. Intruder caught on camera. Warden and I responded to the Rec Building, gun in hand to resolve the issue. Heard the intruder running across the floor, got a glimpse of him but he disappeared escaping our dragnet. No shots were fired.

Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 39.6 and climbing under a very thin high layer of clouds. We've had a pair of geese that have been sticking around 24/7 for the last few days. They are a little smaller than our usual pair of big honkers. When the big honkers come in for their daily visits it can get a little noisy and we have a ring side seat to some territorial battles.
