does anyone have a x fitting that goes on the back of the master cylinder on these trucks as i think i cracked mine on my drive last week, because when i pulled into my driveway the brake pedal goes to the floor and all the lines are holding pressure as well as the master.
anything helps
also i have located two sets of 6 of the dodge motorhome 19.5 rims and have Bought a set of six for $600 total for my truck, so make offers for the three good tires on my truck and all the rims. i have 8 split rims 6 RH-5 and 2 three piece rims
the reason i got the rims off that motorhome so cheap is because the people at the yard know me and gave me a birthday discount of $4,400 for the rims as they knew they were worth a lot of dough
Great find on the 19.5 rims! Price seems very reasonable too! Should have both both sets and sold one for profits to fund your project ;-P
For the brake line manifold, do you have the 5 port used with a brake booster, or 3 port used for non-powered brakes? The 5 port is not reproduced. The 3 port is readily available from our specialty parts suppliers:
You can make a 5 port from standard fittings replicating the original schematic below:
If your pedal is not returning and you had a leak, it should be pretty obvious. If no leak is found, it could be that your flexible brake lines have swollen internally and are acting as a check valve and are not returning. Being that yours are at best 15 or so years old, their life is probably up any ways.
Did you properly adjust and bleed the Lockheed brake system? They are interestingly different enough from other brake systems as they have the 4 cam adjusters for the shoes.
I appreciate the asks on the rims/tires, but I am set for the moment and shipping/freight does add up.
