Guys I need help again!!!!! I hadan issue with throttle response on the old girl 7.3 and ordered a new assembly from Clay at RiffRaff. Well I installed it per instructed(no brainer) and recalibrated as instructed. Took her for a run and still the same issue. I can push the pedal to the floor and can hardly get 40 MPH out of it!!!! But then she catches up and runs great. Any ideas?? Greatly appreciated......
Yessir I remembered how when I pulled it up on my laptop. I have an Edge Evolution CTS2 tuner also that also has the code reader and the gauges for the ICP and IPR on it. I just upgraded the top end of this engine but this problem was occuring before I started the upgrade. This issue started when I took my 2002 F350 Powerstroke 7.3 to a suppossibly qualified service shop to have a simple oil and filter change. To make a long story short they didn't lay hands on my truck at all and I checked the oil after running 456 miles and not a drop of oil on the dipstick. That's what started this whole issue with the throttle.......I don't understand how but that's when it started giving me a problem.

To go along with this thought, make sure it doesn’t have a droop which could collect oil and cause MAP reading problems. Sous has mentioned seeing someone have an issue with that in the past.
RacinJasonWV it is sloped downhill from the MAP to the spider
To piggyback on what RacinJasonWV said above and your quote, the MAP line should have a gentle slope down to the spider from the MAP. I recall an "intermittent vacuum" issue happening only twice here on the FTE. The cause of the intermittent issue was due to oil vapors getting into the MAP line, liquifying and then rolling around inside the hose.
The liquid rolling around inside the hose caused adverse conditions regarding the MAP, boost and running conditions due to the liquid causing a vacuum, then not, vacuum, then not, etc...
See the images and notes below for more details.

Here is an image of my MAP line with the OEM spider and OEM MAP sensor connection, which I assume is what you have:
