It would be more like this as we don't get that white stuff on the ground much around here. Although, southern Alabama has a lot of mud holes. If you haven't seen some of the videos of the mud rallies/fest in north FL and south AL, they are pretty entertaining.
As bad *** as that is, I can't see it riding on the road very comfortably!
It is very, very cool though! I'd sure enough be a big guy around here then! Putting all these 'New' trucks to shame! No question on who gets better traction!

I wouldn’t know. I’m waiting for somebody to get a set so I can get a ride in a truck equipped with them. I’m looking at you Tristan.
I had a day off from paying customers so I did mine too. I joined the idiotic IFS-delete club after a few hours of work. I went with v-codes but I might find some Excursion springs as it sits level right now but any weight in the box or on a gooseneck hitch will require air in the bags....not that I really mind using air but if I don't have to I don't. Mine's a bit different. I have 05-up wheels and I've used spacers in the front and rear up until my 2012 rear end replacement a few years ago. I've never been a fan of the spacers in the front because they caused too much negative camber as they stuck out about a half of an inch too far and I didn't want to pay for another alignment. Now the track width is exactly the same front and rear with no spacers and every alignment angle doesn't change every time a bug sticks to the windshield. I used a F450 2wd monobeam (without the dually adapters) for my swap as the axle tubes are longer than the F250/350 by just enough to get my wheels right where they need to be and still have a ton of spring clearance.

Looking good! I like the way you painted the grill and the bumper the same color as the truck. It looks good!
We likely won't survive blow up...given our location.
Yes but I want to be right on top of it so I am vaporized in a nanosecond. If you still have my thermometer when it happens, you can measure how hot the lava is as it burns you up.
In my humble (nonscientific) opinion, the entire country will be destroyed. That event, if it ever happens will be a planetary life extinction level event.
On the positive side, it should be one heck of a show for a very short period of time.
I put a little bit of drive time on this thing. It's amazing how much better it rides without the stock coils. It drives "flatter??" and turns sharper too even though it's not the "super" version of the axle. If I had to describe it in some sort of technical way, it almost made the REAR ride better although I changed nothing there....as though the difference in spring rate between the front and rear was always fighting itself. The 14.5" brake rotors are the stuff of legends! It might be a little over-braked for such a short, light vehicle but it's not touchy or overly sensitive.....it just slows down! I also have larger rear brakes (2012) so I think they'll play nicely on the next tow.
