Found this on the Garmin web site. Indicates the RVCAM795 does not include vehicle size navigation; not sure I believe it; may have to call them. Garmin comparison
In the YouTube video linked above in Post #158, the guy shows the RV dimensions being entered into the RVcam 795. I have the Garmin RV1090 and it also takes the RV dimensions and incorporates them into the routing.
I still use the Rand McNally when planning the route, then make whatever adjustments needed on the Garmin, for now. Then I power off the RM and put it in the console and never touch it until the next trip. I like the styling of the Nuvicam better than what is out today, but I may at some point break down and replace it with a new one, but get a separate GPS enabled dash cam instead.

As far as a stand-alone GPS goes, I think it is pretty good. I wanted the larger screen so both of us could see everything on it without leaning forward. I figured out a way to place it on the front of my center console where it rides without issue and is real easy to put away out of sight when stopping. I'm not real tall and didn't want the larger screen blocking any of my vision over the dash. I like that it has a ton of campgrounds preloaded which is what we use it for the most. There is also a companion program for the computer called Base Camp that can be used for planning trips that can then be sent to the GPS and stored there as a trip with all the stops already defined. I'm not real crazy about Base Camp mostly because I haven't spent much time getting familiar with it so most of my trip planning happens directly on the RV1090. Trip planning can include multiple destinations (stops) as well as waypoints that you just drive through. You can also change the route it wants to take if you have a preferred way of getting someplace. I also like that it shows road grade (percent up or down and distance) and elevation changes for the route. I've only had it give us squirrelly routing a couple of times but nothing that would have gotten us into a rabbit hole with the trailer. Once it wanted us to get off a state highway, go to the stop sign at the top of the exit ramp and then go back down the on-ramp to get back onto the same highway. We could see the rest of the routing on the map so we skipped the off-ramp excursion. Overall, I would buy it again if I needed to but it has life-time map updates and traffic (cell phone required for traffic) so it will probably be traveling with us for the foreseeable future.
I use BaseCamp with my Nuvi, its how I can input changes from the Rand Mcnally. I found it does NOT work with embedded Garmin maps in something like the Kenwood I had in the last truck, which was disappointing.
Thank you for catching the mistake. Both RV models will allow you to enter your weight and height to determine the routing. I will report this to get it fixed.
Thank you for choosing Garmin,
Two days ago I got in my 2022 F-350 Platinum and was wandering around the Navigation menu. I saw the choice “Trailer Navigation.” Not having the trailer nearby I couldn’t do anything, but was looking forward to getting it set up. Yesterday I went back to the menu and Trailer Navigation was gone. WTFO! And before you ask, I hadn’t been drinking (yet).

Any insights?
Mine has done that since day one. Sometimes there and sometimes not. Even when it is there if you try to use it, it won't work. Mine seems to be related to if the truck is connected to WIFI or not.
I have a 2022 Ford F450 Platinum. The Trailer Navigation Towing option is not in my setting. I took delivery in July 2022. My dealer looked into it and Ford said it will be coming out in an update form and downloaded to the truck when available. I tow a 41 Foot fifth wheel and this option would help me and others immensely

Some people seem to think the upgrade is never coming, but I was told the same thing you heard by a customer service rep on Ford's 800 number. I'm not holding my breath, but still hopeful.

This is the exact opposite of what I heard when I called into Ford about this issue. In short, they told me (after talking with engineering) that there were no plans to enable this feature for super duties. When I stated that it was expressly written in the owners manual that this was a feature of Sync 4, the response was "That is a feature for F150s which is why it is included in the manual and that the manual is not always indicative of what's present in the vehicle". When I responded "Are you telling me that I can't trust my owners manual to give me important information related to the vehicle I own because it may not apply to the vehicle that it purports to reference", I was told "Well, we do include features from F150 and Super Duty due to them being so closely aligned and to save money". When I politely told them that the Super Duty and F150, while sharing similar body styles and parts are not the same truck, I was told "Sorry, but this is the way things are done". After that, I hung up and decided that Ford Support was basically worthless.
Long story short, I will not hold my breath for this feature to be released for the Super Duties. Never mind the mind blowing ignorance of only offering this on a truck that very few people will be hauling anything that requires trailer considered guidance and foregoing the truck that people specifically buy for just that reason. Crazy world we live in.

I've been following this thread for almost a year now - since October 15, 2021 when it first started. During those 11 months a number of folks have said they called Ford and were told the feature was going to be released for the Super Duty "sometime". A number of folks have also been told that it was not going to be released for the Super Duty. There have been several Ford sources that stated the feature is only available on certain F-150's. To me it seems pretty obvious that Ford has the software and the hardware already in production (Sync 4) and in use (F-150) to support this feature. So if they were going to release it for the Super Duty it would have already happened. I agree with Rednex and the others who don't think we will be seeing this feature in our Sync 4 Super Duty - ever. Unless, as Farley has so frequently stated recently about various other technology features, Ford can figure out a way to monetize it. And even the monetization theory doesn't make any sense because Ford could easily have told the Super Duty community months ago that the feature is available on a subscription basis which would have answered the "why can't I see it on my Sync 4 screen" question.

This is why I don’t think we’ll ever see it. They have a way to monetize it now. It’s the $70/yr “connected nav” subscription. The only reason I bought the subscription was in hopes to get this feature. Without it, I’d stick to google maps via car play. It’s a much better GPS system. Guess who won’t be re-upping the sub next year?
What Ford and other manufacturers need to do is team up with Garmin for their mapping software. At least this way they can provide RV mapping, and could do annual subscriptions for map updates over the air. Oh, but wait, Ford has eliminated the 4G modems, so guess WiFi updates only.
