Thanks guys, I'm also now following with great interest. I just started looking for the trailer option today, and it's not there. It would be an awesome feature if it worked, but it seems like Ford is all over the map with it. My Connected Navigation trial ends on November 20, sure would be nice to know before then!
Looks like some kind of update occurred. I now have the trailer routing option with configuration screens. However, it is still not functional. When choosing the option to setup an active trailer, I only get the trailer towing checklist.
I just got off the phone with the rep for the connected nav, and she was basically USELESS.
She said she had no information that they were going to add the trailering option to the nav.
She also told me the nav does not save routes, no favorites option for routes, only destinations.
She told me the nav doesn't even save a route you've made when you turn the truck off overnight or even beyond when it goes to sleep.
And, as far as I know, it goes to sleep after 30 minutes, so if you stop along your route for lunch, you may have to re-enter your route, for sure will have to when you stop overnight.
So, guess I will NOT be subscribing.
This connected nav is the absolutely most basic navigation I've ever encountered.
Oh, she also told me they had no plan that she knew of to offer any upgrade to embedded nav.

I was planning to call but you've saved me the trouble. Since Togo and RV Life Pro don't work with Android Auto, I'm leaning towards a Garmin or Rand McNally GPS made for RVs. Thanks for sharing!
I’ve checked several times since the original posting. The option has showed-up one or two times but was not functional. The option for trailer towing navigation is currently not available on my Sync 4.
This SUC#S. I've been using RV Trip Planner and Sync 4 Navigation (as is ) while waiting for this Trailer Routing to finally show up on my screen. Going to use some of the comments I've seen in this thread to see if I can get it to work. Calling for tech support has been useless to this point. Have had my 2022 F-350 for 3+ weeks now and done 2 weekend trips already pulling our Fifth wheel and it's interesting with the new Sync 4 NAV system trying to get around. Also, I really hate not having a Fuel Prices screen, or the ability to see a Weather Map via "Show weather map" command. The more things improve the more they get all jacked up. Ok rant over. Thanks for the info up to this point.
On the bright side I REALLY like the 5th wheel trailer backup control. My trailer backing-up skills SUC# but the Pro Trailer Backup Assist™ and camera option makes it more bearable for now. The real test will be at Disney's Fort Wilderness the end of March - all back-in spaces there. So far, other than my storage parking slot, I've had pull-thru spaces in RV parks. Gonna be fun...
Hello all. I got my 2022 F250 about 4 months ago and was really looking forward to trailer nav as well. It was not on my menu either, connect to trailer or not. I just talked to Ford and they had no answer. I am betting it will come in a future update. The rep on the phone had no info on an upcoming update. Let's hope it comes soon. Would love to have it.

I talked with Ford a few months ago when I first discovered the problem. They didn’t have any answers then. I was thinking about calling again but you just saved me the time. I would have thought Ford Customer Service would have some answers by now. One would think they have received several calls about the issue.
I don't know this for sure, but I am guessing it has to do with licensing fees. No doubt Ford pays whoever provides the data for using it in the new F150's, which all seem to have it (with the tow package). To include the SD's would be an additional fee. The Sync 4 software obviously can provide this option so it just needs to be turned on once Ford decides to pay for it. Just a guess, but makes sense.

I hope there is an update soon. I really would like to have trailer nav. Does anyone know of a nav app that does the same thing? I had hoped that truckers would have something but have not seen it.
LOL, I was supposed to get our Lariat Ultimate next week, but it's been pushed to 3/17. I'll look for it when it eventually gets here but I'd have to see something really nice to subscribe to the Nav. Android Auto is fine for me, although It'd be real nice if it would use waypoints in Google Maps so I could track distance to the next stop.
