I just took delivery on a 2022 F350 Lariat Ultimate that I ordered in mid July (was surprised at the 60 day delivery to dealership from the date of order). Anyway, the vehicle is equipped with Sync 4 Navigation. Page 612 of the manual lists the steps to activate "Trailer Towing Navigation" which looks to help plan routes around hazardous situations based on the dimensions of the trailer (low bridges, narrow bridges, etc.). The problem is, I don't have the "Trailer Routing" menu option from the Navigation menu that is described in the manual. The software is up to date and the navigation system works as it should except for this feature.
Has anyone seen the "Trailer Routing" option from their Sync 4 Navigation menu? This would be handy because I frequently pull a 5th wheel RV.
It should be in there, I know I've seen it, but I've never used it so far.
Hmmm. I was hoping it was a feature not yet in the program instead of a possible issue with my vehicle. I’m currently under the trial subscription. The manual and program state the feature requires an “active” subscription. If you don’t mind me asking, do you have a paid subscription or are you under a trial subscription?
Nope, just the trial.
All features are supposed to be available in the trial period.
Keep searching, I'll look at mine when I get a chance, recovering from surgery right now.
Well I have set up my 5th wheel and had it hooked up to the truck and I don't have the trailer routing come up on the menu list. Would be nice to have such a feature for sure, on another note on the settings for the trailer I do have not only tire pressures but tire temps for the trailer tires but not sure that the trailer tpms sensors even measure tire temps

I did the same thing. I setup my RV and even hooked it up thinking the software might require a recognition of a “trailer”. But, I didn’t get a menu selection from the navigation screen for a trailer towing or trailer routing option as described in the manual. I called Ford and they didn’t seem to have a clue because the vehicle / system is “so new”.

This is what I found
On sync 4 screen press settings, scroll to sync navigation, then select trailer routing.
then turn on trailer-optimized routing, then add trailer profile
Have gone into the sync nav settings and there is no trailer routing icon whatsoever. My truck is a KR 350 drw so my nav subscription is good to 2024. Unless because my truck was built for a Canadian order not sure why it is not there

Interesting. Thanks for checking. I followed your steps and still do not have the option for trailer routing. My SYNC Software Version is 21136_PRODUCT, Revison 134. My Navigation Version is v1.54r.20210415.1ccee3b5. If you have a chance, would you confirm these are the versions you have?

Which model truck do you have? I did a search for this feature and only saw it referenced for Sync 4 in F150's.
I just took delivery on my new F250 Platinum this morning. Going through the truck with the dealer, we could not find the Trailer Tow navigation. We checked an F150 and it was there. The software on my truck says it is up to date. He is going to followup and get back to me.

If you don’t mind, please keep us updated on what you find out. Thanks.
