Before the weekend I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who has participated in the spreadsheet. Tracking 1 truck doesn't tell us anything, but tracking 80+ has yielded some real results.
I know it does not get our trucks here any faster, but it has been comforting to know you all are out there waiting for your trucks too, and that you all came together in this forum community to share your experiences and support each other.
It's a great group of guys and gals here, and I'm proud to be a member.
Everyone have a great weekend!
Right back at ya Phoenixfla! I'm sure I speak for most of us in saying "Thank You!"
My apologies if this has already been discussed ad-nauseum. Quite a few of us are still listed as "In Order Processing" even though we have our VIN number and we've been given either a production week or production day by our dealer or Ford marketing.
My question is, how confident should we be in the production dates we've been given if we have a VIN but we're still showing "In Order Processing"? Has anybody had a significant delay in their production date after they got a VIN?

This is normal. Your status won't change until close to your production day. Looks like you and I are assigned the same production day. We might see a change next week but it might be the following week.

They schedule them based on the expectation of receiving the various components in time for the assembly. In other words, they don't schedule a truck they don't think they can complete to 100%. (Except the purgatory debacle)
But, sometimes the components are delayed causing an already scheduled truck to get pushed out. You'll see a couple September build dated in the tracker. Those trucks had an earlier build date, but once Ford figured out they won't have a component, they bumped them.
So far, very few of the dates have been bumped out once given, but they are just getting ready to start up the plant on Monday so we'll see if they are able to build what they have scheduled.
Best of Luck to everyone scheduled for the upcoming weeks!
Knock on wood Ford will complete and ship in a timely manner.
Based on the Build Dates, everyone who is currently "In Production" should be built next week. That's a lol of our members trucks. (25-30!) Hope they get it done!
Oh, and what's up with the window stickers? They gotta be on the trucks, so why not in the system?

Have a 7/19 date. Quizzed the dealer on Friday and she said it would likely show up in the days after it was produced.

I have to say I do like the way they have prioritized the retail orders. Just in our small group, and of the people that have reported building dates, we have 4 being built on Monday, 3 on Tuesday, 3 Wednesday 3 Thursday, and 2 on Friday.
If everyone submits their build dates, I bet those daily numbers would double.
They will be running 2 shifts for a few weeks, so building probably 600-900 trucks a day. If we have 30 on our tracker for next week, we're approaching 1/2 of 1% of the trucks (.005 or .5%) I think. It's amazing how far these forums reach.
ETA - Remember when viewing the spreadsheet, there is a 2nd tab that sorts by user-submitted build week or day.
Saw a YT video where a guy (he must have known someone), managed to get escorted into the KTP on his build date, this was a few years ago, previous gen maybe...
He was escorted by a factory rep, and they found his truck on the line (after body to chassis marriage), and he got to witness all the final assembly. I mean, how frigging cool would that be? Right? 😄
The three September builds all have the UTTCS, two scheduled for 9/20 and 1 for 9/27. Those could change either way, but that's probably the time frame your currently looking at.
If that's the only thing holding your truck up, you could consider dropping it, unless of course it's on your must have list.
You have probably already considered this but thought I'd throw it out there.

Dude, that would be an ultimate dream. I'd love to tour the plant (I understand they don't offer tours anymore) but to actually be there to watch final assembly of my truck would rank pretty close to being there for the birth of my kids. (Hope my wife never sees this)
If I could be the first person to start it and drive it home directly from the plant.................WAKE UP!
