ugh great. It’ll be next week now before I see it.
We can all hope. Get ready, after it is unloaded there is no way I know of to get any status updates. It apparently will just arrive at the dealer unannounced. Maybe in a day, maybe in two weeks. It all depends.
WOOO HOOOOO TRUCK BUILT!
Took 2 days shy of 6 months from when I ordered it.
NOW, I wait like many of you for it to ship.
Hope it gets on a rail car BEFORE the upcoming KTP shutdown.
How/where do I get shipment info once status changes to Shipped?
Or even find out WHEN it'll ship?
I guess it's a crap shoot just like waiting for it to get built??
Thanks,
Welcome
Your 2022 SuperDuty F-350 LARIAT has been "Built" and is currently awaiting shipment.

I'm in the same boat as you. Many delays and finally miraculously built on the same day as yours. Mine is headed to Oregon, estimated delivery one day after yours. I'm hoping that as long as that delivery date holds on the tracker, they intend to get it in s train before they shut down.
Our trucks are in the same situation. My truck went into production 12/2 with a build date of 12/10. It was apparently built on 12/11. Window sticker date changed to 12/10 and the 'tracker' switched to in production on 12/11. The window sticker date changed to 12/17 and no update to the 'tracker'. The VVR still shows my truck is on chip hold. The VVR ETA is 12/25 to 12/31. The 'tracker' ETA is 12/31. As of 2 days ago the 'tracker' won't even pull up my window sticker, I can only get it via Mach E.
Fredrickhw.... I was 50 trucks in front of you. 1287/1628. My delivery date is showing ETA 12/28 to WI. My WS updated 12/10 as my 'built' date, shipping notification 12/13, and WS update 12/17. No change on information. My shipping notice projected 12/22-12/28 delivery window in the email. If you haven't received a built email and shipped email... you may be waiting for a specific commodity onsite or offsite at GFX.
Ordered 10/8
Build week 12/6

Shipped 12/13

This is interesting info and I am happy for you that your truck left Kentucky and is on its way to you. I don't get any emails from Ford, I am convinced my email didn't make it into the web based order system. Without BoF employee tracker thread, I am totally blind unless I bug my salesman for a VVR. The Ford tracker is garbage. The 'tracker' says in production 12/11 and ETA of 12/31 to Ames, IA - no updates since 12/11. I have as-built data, I have added the truck to Fordpass. Window sticker still shows 12/2 as the built date and the last WS version date is 12/17. At this point I am not expecting it to leave Kentucky until mid-January at best. Hopefully there are no adverse affects of it sitting in a field for the next month. I got in a big hurry to sell my current truck back on 12/2, now I am pumping the brakes and will probably just keep it through the winter at this point.
Mine is an F350 Platinum, 6.7, FX4, no AS, no spray liner, no 5th wheel prep.
I ordered my 2022 F350 on 9/4/21. According to the link that Ford emailed me, they confirmed the order on 9/4/21.The truck went into production on 11/24/21, was built on 12/28/21, and has been shipped. I have received two email from Ford on the delivery dates, the most recent this morning stating the truck would arrive between Jan 19-25 of next year. The original email stated Jan 2-8. Maybe everything is shutting down for the holidays and that's resulting in the delay. I don't know.
Truck is a carbonized gray F350 with:
-Diesel
-Ultimate Lariat package.
-FX4
-3.55 locking axle
-5th wheel prep
Pretty standard truck and I'm looking forward to getting it.

I noticed no emails either. Asked my salesman about it and he told me that the inventory manager did not include it with my order. WTF!? As a result I have been relying on slow a$$ response last from dealer for updates.

I don't think the rails or trucks shut down much for the holidays. At least not for weeks like the truck plant. I'd guess that once the truck has shipped it's out of Ford's hands. Let's hope that it's just poor communication and your truck arrives soon.
My shipped date was 12/13 with an estimated delivery of 12/22 to 12/28. I didn't bug the dealer for railcar info and trying to track it's travel. No one can speed it up anyway. To my surprise it got to the dealer late in the day or the evening of 12/20 and sometime overnight I got the email from Ford that it was delivered. Dealer had it ready to go the next afteroon, one day ahead of the earliest projected delivery. Hopefully you receive some surprise good news also.
Two ways...call Ford Marketing and ask for the status of your build, or request a copy of the VVR (vehicle visibility report) from your dealer.
on Blu Oval forums an employee at KTP was kind enough to let us know that there are approx 10,000 units waiting on chips. KTP is hoping those components arrive over the next 3 weeks while there is no production. If the components arrive, they will move thise units back to KTP to be completed and shipped.
Anyway you slice it nothing is going to happen with those 10,000 units for at least another 3 to 4 weeks. It sucks, its frustrating, but in the grand scheme of things its first world problems.
How is it that some are finding out that their order is on a chip or other item hold?
Like others have said. Get with your dealer and get a copy of the Vehicle Visibility Report (VVR) and it will give you the info you need. Here is mine that is on “Chip Hold”.

WOO HOO…
Looked at online tracker earlier today and was greeted with a SHIPPED status on my truck!!!
ONLY took 5 months and 29 days to get to this point. Frustrating at best. Now…gotta figure out how to get railroad tracking data to keep track of it.
