What exactly do those percentages mean? 0% means no constraint and 100% means... no availability? This is the clarification that could be helpful.

With this in mind, looking over that whole report, it should be obvious to anyone how much out of whack the whole supply chain is. Not saying it's anybody's fault, just... lots going on that we only see the very surface of.

Agreed. The one item that seems to be a death blow to an order is the adaptive steering. I've seen several orders (including mine) that have been scheduled with some of the limited options. Again, no adaptive steering, but 5th wheel prep package, bed liner etc. Granted it seems that many people are getting turned around pretty quick without those options.

Thanks. I’ve been keeping an eye on “commodities “ that have been an issue. This is the first I’m hearing that my power moonroof and 6.2L motor are now commodity issues. Although not at 0%, still in the 20% range. Great - something new to be concerned about. I currently have a build date of week of 1/31. That hopefully would get me my truck around 3/1 which works fine. Any later than 4/1 and my work life could get difficult. I’ll keep my fingers crossed. Thanks again for the explanation

I'm new to this...ordered on 12/2. What isn't clear to me is there a short supply of adaptive steering or a complete lack of it? I'll consider dropping it from my order in a few months if things don't change.

The commodity constraints only impact unscheduled orders. So if you've received a vin and build week, the commodity constraints don't impact you.

I'm not aware of any orders with adaptive steering that have been scheduled or built in the last few months. I think I saw something saying that Ford isn't scheduling orders with AS. I may be wrong on this so someone keep me honest if so.

Thanks that’s good news. Yeah I received my build date and VIN on 12/2

My truck just made it to the dealer last Thursday. Ordered 6/2, original build date in Aug then many more after that. In Production 12/11, Built 12/26, Shipped 12/27 or 28 by rail. Delivered to customer rail transfer lot Jan 1.
F250 Lariat Extended Cab. Has Adaptive Steering according to the window sticker. They are doing the spray in bedliner here so should be picking up Mon or Tue.

Serious question, then why have so many builds been pushed back?

According to M1078, he's been pushed back five times, and I've been pushed back once, and absolutely expecting it to happen again in a week or two.

I have no idea what causes an order to have its build week changed. Happened to both of my orders. I have a few guesses but they're just that. I would love to know though.

I have adaptive steering and 5th wheel prep and my truck was built December 21st and shipped on December 25th. My truck has been ordered since April 12th. Right now my truck is sitting at a rail yard in New Orleans for 2 days. Hopefully it ships to the dealer tomorrow.

Keeping my fingers crossed for your delivery this week. I think mine is between Chicago and Kansas City.

Got word from my dealer today that my truck is "On the Ramp" up in Jacksonville, FL. I can only guess it is at the CSX rail yard up there. He is "hopeful" delivery will be this week.
The truck is scheduled for delivery this coming Thursday, 1/13! Been on order since June 25th,
Built December 21st and has been sitting 55 miles West of me since December 27th in Baldwin, FL waiting for it to be moved on to Jacksonville
They have to transport it down here to me in St. Augustine, about 45 miles away.

Anxious to get this thing and start pulling that RV of mine!
