A couple things I noticed. Of the three trucks built on 7/10 & 7/11, none were built with the 12" screen. If I am correct, these were basically 2021 vehicles with a 2022 VIN. Is this correct. The second thing I noticed is that these trucks were released to ship without the normal "OK TO BUY" after 5 consecutive days of production with zero Defects.
they are XL's so they would not have the 12" screen
No retail orders will be released until OK to Buy status is reached which takes a minimum of 5 days of retail production with no defects.
Pretty sure I've read in several posts over the last few weeks that Ford has waived the "OK to Buy" SOP in favor of prioritizing the release of retail '22 orders, largely based on the fact that this is essentially a carry over model year.

right now 34 trucks on the spreadsheet are built or in production as of 5 pm CST. Just checked mine, switched to "in production" since yesterday same time. Lets see how many switch this evening, mine has yet to update on the spreadsheet
EDIT, 4:45 cst was the true actual time as when i refreshed it went to 35 (not mine) before 5 pm

It looks like next week's trucks are starting to go in production. Only 1 so far.

Mr. ice-capades on Blue oval is the authority on this. My understanding is that they waived OK to buy only to start retail production. But they are still not releasing any completed 2022 retail trucks until OK to buy is achieved. Normally, no retail trucks can be built until OK to buy is achieved.
Well ladies and gents,
This is not a good sign... my scheduled build date was yesterday. My F-350 Lariat is a very lightly optioned truck with really only a Lariat Value Package added....
hmmmm.... wish I knew more.. Hopefully they're not starting a 2022 purgatory!

Do you have a spray in bedliner or any of the accessories that get added after the build?
It could also be going somewhere for the 5 day hold before being released.
Nope, not one thing, unless universal garage door opener is an issue, lol!
The 5-day hold sounds legit....
Of the 3 on the tracker built last week, 2 stock orders are awaiting shipment and 1 retail order is still in production. We may see the retail orders stay in production until they are given the clear to ship.
I firmly believe Ford learned their lesson about making incomplete vehicles, and will not repeat that mistake.
