Well ladies and gents,
This is not a good sign... my scheduled build date was yesterday. My F-350 Lariat is a very lightly optioned truck with really only a Lariat Value Package added....
hmmmm.... wish I knew more.. Hopefully they're not starting a 2022 purgatory!
Did a little poking around on older threads and found a few tidbits of post build status info. Some guys on threads in 2020 were talking about the post build status "Released to Body Company" which specifically seemed to reference being sent out for spray in bedliner install, and another, "Sent Offsite" as mine shows now after yesterday's build. According to these common threads, "Sent Offsite" refers to other offsite installations such as wheel well liners, mud flaps, 5th wheel hitches etc. (things that aren't installed on the line).
I optioned wheel well liners and mud flaps, so that may be my "Sent Offsite" status.
Thought I'd share this for others that might have optioned these additional items to avoid any post build status surprises!
@Phoenixfla Can you add a new column and separate the trim from the truck F-series? Example: 'Model' column for F350, and 'Trim' column for Lariat. Will make it easier for sorting.
Thanks!
Not easily. On the purgatory I manually filled in a lot of columns, so I broke that data down in more detail. With the 2022 tracker all the columns pull from Ford, or your own input.
That particular column comes in as one field from the database. I may be able to create a formula that pulls the first 4 digits from that column and copies them to another column and the rest of the data to a third.
Are you able to sort the spreadsheet by columns on your end?

I haven't been able to figure out how to get the columns to sort on my end.
I've made some enhancements to the spreadsheet. At @Hooves suggestion, I was able to separate the model from the trim, so I replaced the year column since we have no 2021s any more.
I've also color coded the model and trim.
While I was color coding, I set up the user submitted build date to color code by week. Trucks having the same color are scheduled for the same week. Key on far right side of spreadsheet. (and don't forget the 2nd tab at the bottom that sorts by build date.)
Great response from everyone submitting your build weeks / days and seeing more user notes being submitted. Particularly interested in the users that have been rescheduled to Sept adding the options they believe caused the delay.
Remember all the instructions for adding your truck to the tracker and adding /changing your build date and user defined notes are in the 1st post of this thread.
Thanks everyone!
ETA - Also, some members' forum usernames are their first and last names. From now on, on the tracker, I am just going to use first name and last initial.
Don't know why someone would order a 350 with derated gross vehicle weight. My 250 has a higher gvwr
Money! Here in VA any vehicle with a GVWR over 10k has to run the truck plates and in many ways is treated like a commercial vehicle, even if it isn't. Every year the state has a pool of money they give back to the counties and cities to use "Tax Relief" on passenger vehicle property taxes. Vehicles with the truck plates aren't considered passenger vehicles and don't qualify for that relief. The effect is that last year, when the assessed value of my 2017 was only $26,500, I could have saved $503 on the property taxes. I'm sure the assessed values are going to go up this year making it even worse.
In addition to that, 2 years ago they increased the annual registration fees on vehicles over 10k GVWR instead of putting a toll on I-81. In addition to raising the base registration fee they also added a surcharge per 1000 lbs of GVWR. The effect of that caused my 3 year registration to go from $209 (2017) to $480 (2020).
And all of that is why I ordered my 2022 derated to 10k GVWR.

I got an email from Ford last night that claimed my truck had been scheduled to week 8/9 even though the last check of my dealer's V V R shows it scheduled to build day 7/31. I have asked for an update V V R to confirm. Bummer if it got bumped out.

its not really "off site" its just on the other side of the plant. See attached photo ( you can also find this photo on google images) . But the add on's (bedliner, fifth wheel etc...) are done at manning equiptment https://truckequip.com/our-story/ , its no father away from the plant than the train car loading facility (circled in green) or the truck loading facility across the street (circled in yellow)
Phoenixfla - what source do you use for the data? The tracking sites I use (Ford, F150, Mach E) all show my production date and an ETA, but it seems like the spreadsheet isn't updated yet.
Still no window sticker...
Just saw on the 2017+ facebook group that an early 2022 Stock unit has arrived and is for sale ($10k over MSRP).
Phoenixfla, this tracking spreadsheet gets better and more valuable everyday. Thank you for your efforts.
Thanks, we've come a long way from taking photos of an excel spreadsheet on my monitor. I'm glad it's useful to others.

I've got 2 trucks for you now, so I numbered them as such.

The spreadsheet pulls from the same database as the Mach E tracker and the F150 tracker. The Ford tracker seems to pull from a different database, which has the freshest info.
That data then makes its way to the customer database the the non-Ford trackers can access. Sometimes it takes a few hours or overnight for them to sync up.
Then we get to the spreadsheet. That pulls from the same customer database, but the data is not "pushed" to the spreadsheet, rather the spreadsheet has to reach out for updates. It is suppose to do that every hour, but the more trucks we add, the longer the updates take, and it does not start counting to start the next update until the last finishes. That can lead to delays so actual refreshes only happen about every 2 hours. This may lead to a need to cap the total number of trucks on the spreadsheet.
So Ford.com has the freshest data, followed by doing a 1-off search on the third party trackers, followed by the spreadsheet, which usually catches up in a few hours.
