Well I am convinced that no 2WD trucks have been scheduled yet. This is pretty shocking to me. Maybe the line can only handle one configuration at a time?
I suppose there could be a commodity issue holding up the 2WDs.
Let me know if you've ordered a 2WD and are waiting to be scheduled.
I was wondering if they did group things somewhat. Run a batch of 6.7s and then a batch of 7.3s. Maybe group cab/bed combos together or even paint colors in groups?
The wife, "Are you looking at the Ford forum AGAIN?!" 😆
Feel like a kid waiting for Christmas morning...Jeez!
You'd think a guy at 60 would be over such a thing, lol!!
My friend told me, "You know, waiting for the thing is WAY more exciting than AFTER you've gotten the thing"....
I kindly told him to F.O. 🤣
But I digress....sorry for getting off topic.
Creating the spreadsheets has been hugely therapeutic for me. My 21 was suppose to be delivered in May. So many times I thought it was getting close, only for more delays. 2021 still showing a ETA of 10/31.
We now have over 80 trucks on the purgatory tracker, and over 100 on the 2022. It's nice knowing you all are feeling just as excited about getting your truck as I am, and just as miserable waiting.
As a middle-aged guy, not a whole lot of things give me the Christmas eve feeling, but getting a new truck sure does. (If Christmas would ever come)
Quick favor. I'm looking to add Drive Type to the spreadsheet. The 7th letter of your VIN determines your drive type and if it's SRW or DRW. For the 21s here is how the 7th position decodes:
A-4x2 SRW
B-4x4 SRW
C-4x2 DRW
D-4x4 DRW
(The letters go higher for 550s and Chassis Cabs, but for thus post I'm sticking with the 4 most popular configurations)
When look at the data, all I see are Bs and Ds which seems to indicate only 4x4s have been scheduled. That seems odd, so I'm wondering if the VIN code changed for 2022. If you have a 4x2, and have been scheduled, can you let me know?
@Phoenixfla I think the hash we are seeing in the JSON for window sticker is used as part of the token request along with the VIN based on what I'm seeing in the "official" Ford order tracker.
Also the verbiage in there has updated to include "When you have a moment, tryout the link to your Window Sticker that is now available lower on the page." However mine still doesn't pull up. AFAIK I'm still scheduled for the 19th, so I guess we'll see

Dealer verified today I have a build date of the 20th and show the same on the status page and it hasn't changed for 2 weeks or so.
I expect over the next day or two we will start seeing dates populated and window stickers uploaded for quite a few people. It will be nice to see the tracking spreadsheet next week.
I'm also running out of manuals, quickstart cards, and YouTube videos to go through. I'm ready to jump in anytime.

Haha, I'm with ya. It'll be interesting to see if these trucks actually ship or if they sit.
