I wonder if Irate ever changed his oil feed line from wrapping around the back to the front. I don't know if you know but I lost a truck to a fire because the oil line rubbed on the firewall and blew a hole in it. Hot oil, hot turbo equals fire!

I knew it but wasn't going to mention it. I figured you'd be around to share the story. That alone was a big deciding point for me.

I found your thread and read thru it after you posted this. That line was GONE! Least you had a good crew to get you back together.
I think Irate still runs the feed line to the rear, but they updated the oil drain and mounting plate to the pedestal.
I'm rooting for you sir!!
Glenn...still makes me sad.
Yeah, I still think about that truck once in awhile, we liked the CC over the extended cab. I didn't want to sell it but the situation I was in sorted forced me to. I'm sure glad Todd got it and is bringing it back to life, can't wait to see it moving again.
Hopefully it's not too bad. The downpipe will most likely be a fight though. Anything exciting going with you?
Well, I'm full steam ahead on this mustang project. As soon as it's done then Clifford's cab comes back home and its clifford time. I HAVE to get that back on the road. I is so far past time it's making me just that much more dedicated to complete him.

It would be great to have Clifford on the road. Is the cab at a body shop? Oh and what's the mustang project?

No the cab is just languishing in a buddies shop right now. The painter failed me and gave up. He gave the truck back that I swapped him for the work. I actually may start going over to my buddies and sling some mud on a few minor spots.
The mustang project is a 90 gt. I got a nice shell given to me. It however is ONLY a bare shell with all sheetmetal. I bought an EXTREMELY rusty but mechanically nice 92 lx.
I'm in the middle of swapping every part from one to the other along with a few tasteful mods that I had laying around
. My goal is for it to be done by.the end of this month and back on clifford . I'm killkng it almost every evening. We shall see.
keep up the good work on yours!!

Are you going to go ahead and spray the rest of the truck yourself? Sounds like a pretty cool Mustang project you got going on. Spent most of the day on my truck today. I ended up having to make a few cuts in the firewall to get the downpipe in. It was a real bish. Making progress though. I'll have to do some welding and clean up when everything is done.
