1.800 with out the seal. The micrometer didn't fit over the seal. Yes it was Comp 910s. If my math is right that equals 1.75 with the seal hopefully.
That's about perfect. The factory shim on the seal is .045, so you should be right around 1.750-1.755. Around 130 lbs seat pressure. Safe for around 55 psi of boost/drive. If you start getting close to that sort of boost, I'd switch to a beehive spring. You should be fine with 238s and any single turbo though.

Thank you for the info that makes me feel better lol. Next up will be t4. Not sure what turbo to run yet. Trying to build a healthy daily driver/ work rig. Hopefully I haven't gone to far.
Well I'll have to save a bit more for the 468 lol. The stocker is hating life currently lol. The clutch isn't exactly happy either. Going down that slippery slope, and no turning back now.
Im pretty curious as well. Just put in 238/100 injectors a couple weeks ago, and while detuned it made a huge difference. Pretty happy every cylinder took .045 of shims.
Sweet, lots of injector! I am on stock weenie 90s
Mine took various levels on all eight, made it rev a ton better as some valves took 0.110" worth of shims. I had very low seat pressure in some areas, pretty sure aimed for 1.760" without OE shim/seal (stock height I think?). Gave me 132-136lbs depending on shims accepted.

Do you still think you have a weak cylinder? Seems like it has been doing pretty good.
I would think the 369 on a daily driver would be a little laggy on the bottom end. But I have never driven one like that. I was thinking 366 for mine. Just a tow pig. But hate watching the EGT's all the time towing my 37 foot trailer.

Retested, then it was around 300ish. Before was a sweet 240psi. Byron looked at it, very little external weeps. Just damned oil pan sealant. Not too sure, I still use a ton of oil. Wondering if going through the injectors, the outer o-rings are new into the cups. I just keep a few gallons of Supertech 15/40 in tool box.

Trying not to *****-up your thread, sorry.
Lol don't worry about messing up this thread. Getting ready to fire the truck up shortly here.

I hate to say but never 238&366. I bet that 369 is not terrible. Heck my 468 isn't bad in my opinion. It made lots of boost and cleans up ok. Just dont lugg it.
mj, I hope the test drive goes good!!

Got it fired and drove it for a couple miles. All seems good besides the air in the system. Will hopefully get the air out tomorrow. The stock air doesn't clean up much lol. Need to get going on the t4 set up.
Well it's running good. It definitely revs faster and smoother. Haven't taken it out of my daily tune yet, but nice to know I can play with the tunes now.
I haven't tested anything with a 369 yet, so I don't know one way or the other how I feel about it and that's one reason you don't see me recommend it to anybody yet. We'll see how Todd's works.
With it being a 5 speed truck, it's a little more picky about turbo sizing too. An S467 is great with hybrids, especially with an auto. It can be a little laggy for some people with a 5 speed in the lower gears. Don't expect it to come online until 3rd gear.
The S369 is an option, I have no idea how it'll do from a reliability stand point, but you may need a 1.0 turbine housing rather than the 0.91 that's common to run with stage 1s, 2s, and baby hybrids. Would have to see if whoever you buy from has an opinion on that.
Another option is an S465/83/.90. Not a popular option, especially these days, but still a good runner. I have one of these on my shelf that I ran for around 50k miles. I ran it with 160/100s, but it matches up well with hybrids too. Spool up would likely fall in between the S369 and S467 and it should make around 500hp and tow pretty well.

I was leaning towards a 369, but open to all options at this point. The 465 sounds interesting.

I know there's some guys out there running it with hybrids on some of the 7.3 performance facebook groups, but without having first hand experience with it I can't speak for the reliability or spool characteristics of it. I would look to those groups or contact Irate or Carson Stauffer to get their thoughts if I was looking at one.
