Golf was a fail. I have never seen a course so wet. Damn near unplayable...... I can’t believe they let people on it. Whatever....... a bad day off golf is better than a day of work.

Damn, Skags is plowing (not dirt I'm sure), AdirondEx is drinking adult beverages down by the river, Jim's working rocks in the 90* heat, TJC & Krewat prepping for a a storm, Teddy prepping for bear wrestling, Bronco rolling out the meat jacket and bear suit for Teddy, Matt hanging out in the grocery store, levitating I'm sure, and I just got back in from my 14 hour Friday. Damn fellers, I'm ready for a (5 or 6) cool one. 425 miles round trip. No 550 today though. I drove it Monday and I wasn't down with that rough riding S O B for the trip today. Plus it was only about 15 or 16k gross. Have a good rest of the evening.
Getting ready to get off I-95 in Jax. If I had driven the 550 I probably would still have been in Daytona. I hauled a** down there and back because I got a really late start. The 550 has the de-tuned 6.7 and 4.30 gear ratio. It would have been turning about 2500 RPM's at this speed and drinking the hell out of fuel. I generally get 9-10 MPG's with it keeping highway speeds around 70. My new F-350 with the 10 speed is getting at least 1 MPG better than my '18 did.
Bow.....how the hell do you do that? These days, I'll admit I'm a big puss now when it comes to driving marathon style. 2 hrs in I'm ready for a 30 min break, snack, stretch. 12 hour drive I'd be checking into Holiday Inn at the 6 hr mark
