Went full site and rep crazy. Site said I had to pass more around before I could rep a few guys again. I don’t know what they do but I’m passing them around like Matt passes around U Cakes at bike week.
Everything was sweating. I think the AC should be catching up soon.

Ok I’m dumb but I’m lost on two points:

1. Outback gift cards
2. Where did urinal cakes come in?

Heck, it was so quiet down here today, I poked my head in the dumpster where we throw banned members and burn them, thinking maybe I might find some of you there.

Call it BBQ roadkill if you like, but we did have one banned member today who made an offer that a few of your inner selves might have considered, visuals depending. I didn't see the visuals. Hopefully, very few of our members clicked before the burn.

A thread like this might not fly over here either, were it not for the squadron of fighter pilots actively escorting while navigating away from restricted air space. Everyone is still flying, no crashes, no ejections, no shoot downs, and only one wiggle of the wings... and the significance of this is best summarized by Post #3246

So what is so significant about Post # 3246?

BowTie might say it summarizes the camaraderie found on FTE.

But rather than found, it is actually forged. Forged from the offer that each contributing member volunteers to the mystery and magic of friendship.

Teddy might say it is the tracking.

But rather than tracking of a member's whereabouts, it is a level of give a ship that comes from a capacity to care. And that capacity is not to be taken for granted.

In years past on FTE, there was an active ad hoc nationwide help network, where if an FTE member was stranded someplace with a broken down Ford, all they needed was internet access through their phone, and help was available, some times faster than professional roadside service. Where does that come from? Is it born of the same spirit that wants to know when Matt400 gets up in the morning?

We used to have a member (who sadly, ended up getting banned, but we won't go there, and hopefully no one present here will either) who would get on the forum at around 3 pm every afternoon, because that is when another member, who lived in another continent, on the other side of the globe, would get up and check the forum. It is fulfilling to see a forum facilitate these connections as they take hold. Or as put in Post # 3246, the addiction, as it takes hold.

But that isn't the entire significance of post # 3246...

Observe the post numbers in the screenshot of the final two member posts in the "epic" thread that brought about the connections made manifest and continued in this thread...

The final member post was #3245, before the thread was closed.

Post # 3246 here carries on the camaraderie that incubated there, and already this thread has surpassed the former thread by over 65 posts, and that 65 post difference in access of the previous thread alone is approximately twice the average number of posts of any given thread on the forum.

And you're still here!

Thank you for being here, because it is by your choice that you are here.

Thank you for fine tuning your participation to fit within the guidelines of a family friendly, publicly viewed, privately owned forum, while still finding fun and feeling and freedom to be authentic.

That this thread has now significantly outlasted the previous thread, in an even shorter amount of time, speaks to the mutual respect that everyone has maintained for the forum, and for each other.

Thank you for that. Really.

Y'all will have to work it out for Post # 4000. I hope this thread makes it to 10,000, maybe even 100,000 posts as the years go by. One less escort fighter, unsubbing for now, but still supportive of the spirit that supports fellow members... whether it be through a world crisis such as Covid-19, or through a personal of choosing hunter jogger, or perhaps jogger hunter.
Good post Y2K. Thanks for all the behind the scene work we know you are doing 👍

Man, my post was the last one. It’s all my fault. 😬

1. Bowtie showed a pic of inside his center console and he had Outback gift cards. Jokes ensued. Matt wanted him to take him out to dinner.

2. Bowtie mentioned urinal cakes in PapaTs mindless game thread and it became a running joke. No real meaning to it.

Urinal cakes & 1000 lb sisters. It doesn't take much to amuse us. Kind of like PT's epic "rubbin' nipples and f'n all night" in the Covid thread. That will never get old. He needs to come over here.

Y2K descends upon us every now and then to make sure everyone stays aware of the omnipresent, omnipotent, and omniscient super ninja moderator skills he has. I like reading his posts but most of what he says is far above my level of comprehension so I just nod my head in agreement and drool.

And the plot thickens... So who's playing who? This forum member wants to know? Mods feel free to PM me or I'm out of here. I've got "friends" that I've been willing to share personal info with, maybe not such a good idea. IDK. Waiting...

GENERAL NONSENSE THREAD LIVES MATTER!!

Edit: lately the fun has been taken away in alot of aspects of our lives. This is a way we can hang out & enjoy some good company & make friends too, without masks, distancing etc.

It should be illegal to manufacture yoga pants in sizes other that petite. No, you ladies that need the Plus sizes, you do not look good in yoga pants. Besides, you've never seen the inside of a yoga studio. Pounding down a 32 oz jar of yogurt doesn't not count as yoga.

Did I miss something? Did you miss something? I’m confused. I know, pretty easy to do 😁

On similar topic, oh man, we haven’t seen Mike in a while. Wasn’t his last post something about protests were coming to his area. Hopefully he comes back.

No doubt. I was going to post something really important based on a post a few above his. But by the time I finished reading his post I completely forgot what it was. I'm thinking there was a subliminal message somewhere in there. Or they have one of those Men In Black devices to make you forget.

It could also have been that I've been moving rocks the last four hours in 90° F heat.
