I just had to kick my new employee out of my house. Dang 24yr old punk comes over calling my co owner lazy and bad mouthing him. Of course this kid is high as a kite and been drinking whisky all day. Seriously, just randomly showed up at my house..... no invite..... no nothing. By kicking him out of my house, I mean by the scruff of the neck. This young generation really grinds my gears. 🤦♂️
Anyways, dang Bowtie, you got to get your kid back at work from the newborn “vacation”. You’re supposed to be in the office FTEing all day and taking afternoon naps. 😂

My son came back Monday. Thing is, if one of us needs to drive it's better I go because, frankly, I'm old and shot out and he's much more productive in here than I am. Him and my daughter didn't leave until after 7 Friday. All I had to do was hold the wheel and go where I was told. I had to come back up here this morning and meet a customer who couldn't fit all of his order on his trailer yesterday, so the beers were put on hold last night.
You are right about the young kids these days though. i have gone through my share of them over the years. We've got a really good crew now, but only 2 of them are younger than 25. Mt son is 26 but he's been raised to work hard. He started here at 18 and didn't take long to understand the bosses' son meant you have to work harder and do it better. My daughter has her master's degree and was a nurse practitioner until she came on board about 4 years ago. She's pretty driven so I am the anchor and need to get my old a** out of here! LOL... it's coming. 2-3 years max.

Thanks. I am real happy it's working out like we planned it. There's still plenty of time for the shxt to hit the fan but so far so good. My luck though is on my last day I'll be walking out to my truck to leave and a Boeing bomb (think Joe Dirt) takes me out. LOL....
Meanwhile, one of the most useful presents I ever got. This bottle cooler is a must for drinking beer here in the summer (March-December). 16 oz aluminum bottles fit perfectly. You can put 12 oz ones in there but it's kind of like shooting .38's out of your .357. Cheers. Hope everyone is having a great day. Mine is getting better.
On another note, the A/C in the house took a crap yesterday. Called out A/C guy but he probably can't get here 'til Monday. Bummer.
