I like doing the same. It keeps me away
from the wife when she’s frantically running around thinking she’s going to get hit by lightning. 😂

$477 later and AC is running. Lots of wiring work, bypass some board, contacts destroyed. Trane warranty helped. Thank goodness!

Reps sent. Good to hear your got it up and goi again. No more under moobie sweat for you 👍

Hows your mom? Did she get tested or is it a sit back and see situation?

Went full site and rep crazy. Site said I had to pass more around before I could rep a few guys again. I don’t know what they do but I’m passing them around like Matt passes around U Cakes at bike week.

Whoa... You're still alive!

Heck, it was so quiet down here today, I poked my head in the dumpster where we throw banned members and burn them, thinking maybe I might find some of you there.

Call it BBQ roadkill if you like, but we did have one banned member today who made an offer that a few of your inner selves might have considered, visuals depending. I didn't see the visuals. Hopefully, very few of our members clicked before the burn.

A thread like this might not fly over here either, were it not for the squadron of fighter pilots actively escorting while navigating away from restricted air space. Everyone is still flying, no crashes, no ejections, no shoot downs, and only one wiggle of the wings... and the significance of this is best summarized by Post #3246

So what is so significant about Post # 3246?

BowTie might say it summarizes the camaraderie found on FTE.

But rather than found, it is actually forged. Forged from the offer that each contributing member volunteers to the mystery and magic of friendship.

Teddy might say it is the tracking.

But rather than tracking of a member's whereabouts, it is a level of give a ship that comes from a capacity to care. And that capacity is not to be taken for granted.

In years past on FTE, there was an active ad hoc nationwide help network, where if an FTE member was stranded someplace with a broken down Ford, all they needed was internet access through their phone, and help was available, some times faster than professional roadside service. Where does that come from? Is it born of the same spirit that wants to know when Matt400 gets up in the morning?

We used to have a member (who sadly, ended up getting banned, but we won't go there, and hopefully no one present here will either) who would get on the forum at around 3 pm every afternoon, because that is when another member, who lived in another continent, on the other side of the globe, would get up and check the forum. It is fulfilling to see a forum facilitate these connections as they take hold. Or as put in Post # 3246, the addiction, as it takes hold.

But that isn't the entire significance of post # 3246...

Observe the post numbers in the screenshot of the final two member posts in the "epic" thread that brought about the connections made manifest and continued in this thread...

The final member post was #3245, before the thread was closed.

Post # 3246 here carries on the camaraderie that incubated there, and already this thread has surpassed the former thread by over 65 posts, and that 65 post difference in access of the previous thread alone is approximately twice the average number of posts of any given thread on the forum.

And you're still here!

Thank you for being here, because it is by your choice that you are here.

Thank you for fine tuning your participation to fit within the guidelines of a family friendly, publicly viewed, privately owned forum, while still finding fun and feeling and freedom to be authentic.

That this thread has now significantly outlasted the previous thread, in an even shorter amount of time, speaks to the mutual respect that everyone has maintained for the forum, and for each other.

Thank you for that. Really.

Y'all will have to work it out for Post # 4000. I hope this thread makes it to 10,000, maybe even 100,000 posts as the years go by. One less escort fighter, unsubbing for now, but still supportive of the spirit that supports fellow members... whether it be through a world crisis such as Covid-19, or through a personal of choosing hunter jogger, or perhaps jogger hunter.

Mom seems to be fine. Her work said she didn’t need to isolate but she is staying away this weekend; probably scared to get baby sick. I’m sure she’s been tested; I know she’s been tested in the past. She’s been a nurse over 40 years.

Out of my own morbid curiosity; have the moderators been chaperoning this group? I’m not really sure what happened with other thread because I could barely keep up. Oddly enough I’m still in same boat. It’s seems there is a group of 3 or so that as so perfectly put by Angels in the Outfield -“We’re always watching”
