Going to work on my truck some before I have to go look at some plumbing. Ran into a guy here in town at Lowe's who needed someone to crawl under their house and I'm a bit of a yes man.
Looks like it's going to be a beautiful day, or it's done raining for now anyway. Woke up about two and picked my tools up that I've spent the last two weeks scattering. Adjusted my brakes some more and they feel a little bit better, but nothing to write home about. Going to adjust them one more time and see. I may have to get crazy and make a pressure bleeder, I hear those work great. Have several more member requests in the last couple of days, I need to keep track of those better and post them here. How do you guys feel about throwing something in your signature about being an Arkansas Chapter member? Also, the buy sell trade thread has been set up and stickied, which makes it look more like a post about rules. Be sure to check it out a post anything you got or want. I may link to it in my signature so that people might notice it a little better.
Not good with the signature thing yet but I’ll figure it out.
I’m looking for a 65 or 66 cab/front clip or whole truck. I plan to put the body on my 83 project. I want to shorten it to a short bed but haven’t decided yet. Depends on what I come up with.
wife just ordered new siding so I’m definitely not in a hurry.
Rough day. I'd have gotten more done if I hadn't done anything at all. Got the brakes adjusted pretty good I think, but was planning on replacing vacuum lines and checking the settings on the carb and maybe go on that beer turn. My utility knife dropped between the radiators and poked a hole in the one for the engine. Got one of those ordered. Swapped gears, started to put my mirrors on. Had to bolt up the top to mark and drill the bottom holes for insert nuts. Immediately broke a bolt off and just for good measure I snapped an ease out off in it just to give me something to do. That only took a half hour or so to take care of, so I snapped another one off on the other side, but that one went even quicker. So, I got the mirrors on and a little hole in the top of my radiator, and I had to spend my beer money on a new radiator. Not sure what I'm going to break tomorrow, not a lot of options left, just got some interior trim to put in. I guess I could snap a mirror off adjusting them, or I could fry my radio by wiring it backwards.

Sometimes it's best to stick a fork in it and call it done. For the day, at least.
