Greetings all, March is upon us and I hear we're going to have an early spring. I'll be doing roll call sometime today as well as making a feedback thread. Got a parts run planned for in the morning. Hopefully swapping the starter is all I need to get my truck on the road. If i can get some life out of her I'll go ahead and put the interior back together. Might even feel up to posting a picture of her in her sheep clothes.
I'm hearing early spring also. Need the rain to hold off for a week or so, need to get garden tilled.
As a reminder, Tuesday is primary vote day. Everyone get out and vote. Candidates are not the only things on the ballot.
Greetings Kramercd and thank you for taking the reins. I'm not on here much because I don't know much to offer but I will try to do better. My wife and I are currently getting over the flu but doing a lot better. My current project is rebuilding a 1970 460 to go in a one ton I have. As far as a get together this spring we won't be able to make it because life has us SUPER busy and we are not able to go anywhere. My wife still works and I am in the process of gathering up the things we need to get back into camping and fishing. Hopefully next year we will be freed up and can make the get together. I live near Texarkana and my wife and I are both 61 and have been married for 40 years. I hope all are well and we can get the chapter strong and active again.
I think we're here, at least in the chapter, to socialize. May not be why we came to the site, I figure we all got here because we had some kind of truck issue. Don't have any meet-ups in the works currently. Figure once we get the membership up we can discuss it and see how everyone feels about it. Plus I still haven't got my truck running and I refuse to show up to an FTE get together driving a Honda. Glad you dropped in, every post counts.
They make aftermarket butt warmers for the older trucks too, not sure about the steering wheel heater. My wife has a 2017 Jeep Cherokee and it's got the bells and the whistles and some of the whistles have bells on them. I'm a big fan of the heated seats, not so much the heated wheel. I can't turn all the fun stuff on an off, cars too smart for me.

Well I ran out of nuts ,bolts and screws , put all of the life giving fluids in their proper places and after a long hour and a half ( had to crank on it to get the oil into the heads being carefull to not over heat the starter ) she lit up . Took her for a test drive still has air in the system so I'm taking it real easy but WOW even on the lowest setting on the chip it's got some Umph . Have to check for leaks , recharge the ac, replace the seals and service the dana 60 front end , replace the rear u joint should be good to go .
You win lol I did hear mine start for half a second last night. Got it down to a fuel issue. It was nagging at me after I swapped the starter so I went back out and dumped some fuel down her throat and she busted right off.
