Yesterday I had an unscheduled day off so I got the shop picked up tools put away and the ac working . Got a 150 miles on her now started playing a little with the chip😁😁.
Nice, I dread picking up after this latest round of wrenching. I got my brakes unstuck, somewhat. It was loud and violent. Backed it down the drive and she stuck again pulling it forward again. Had to really give her what for to bounce the nose back into the shop. Think I'll take her for a spin after I drop my daughter off at school and everyone has left town to go to work. I stopped on my way in yesterday afternoon and picked up two jugs of straight gas. Going to try the new alt and regulator here shortly to see if that takes care of the charging issue. I figure it about has to as I replaced the harness between the two yesterday. I can drive for awhile with no brakes, but if the battery isn't charging I'll make it a ways, but almost guaranteed she'd quit as soon as I turned to come back. Hopefully a few miles will polish everything up. Figure I'll get new pads and calipers, if I can hold off on rotors/hubs for now the wife will keep feeding me. But they stick in the spot they pads were parked on, not sure if that means anything or not. But it sticks hard enough to spin the back tires, so may have to replace them. Got the carb tuned for now, but will have to tweak it as I connect vacuum lines. One of them leaked for sure, bad enough I couldn't tune it. But I have enough hooked up for now to drive it.
How big a smoke cloud did you make in those 150 miles?
Hey Kramer, thanks for the invite. Arkansas chapter is a good idea. Should, oould help all of us with parts and to socialize and meet some. Will get myself signed up.
Go Ford!
That's the plan! I don't know how many active members we need for a meet up, but I figure we'll have one once everyone is itching for it. Welcome to the club. I need to see about a buy/sell/trade/up for grabs thread. If you feel up to there is a re-introduction thread in the stickies for folks to add their name and a little about themselves if they feel inclined to.
Mid Central Ark here, just call it Bee Branch - close enough ! Greetings all !

Rezvani's Latest Post-Apocalyptic Monster Is a Ford F-150 Raptor Underneath
Hard to hit a good fishing hole around here without a boat these days. They closed down most of the levees and some of the sweetest honey-holes. Real hard to bank fish with the water being this high.

Fortunate to have a couple of boats.....unfortunate as there's no time to use em....hehehe
Anybody swap a c4 into a 66 f100 240? Does not seem like i can get it over the crossmember without hitting floorboard. Do not want to pull engine if i do not have to.
