Haven't pulled codes yet. But i know from driving it, she's had a soft miss for the last six months or so. So I suspect it's probably something to do with it. Plugs a few months ago help, so I suspect either crud in the gas tank from running it so low, or ignition boots (we always called them resistor tips at MB). I have a set of boots on the way, as it's always recommended to replace those when you do the plugs, and I just didn't know. Hopefully tomorrow night I'll get chance to pull it in the shop and see.
Uncle Sam put some money in the bank today. So, I have a road trip planned to Kansas City Kansas tomorrow and getting Ka'Bluey 5 NEW tires.
And finally get that new air compressor I bought last summer wired up, and back to work on Ka'Bluey!
i need to not go to town... its expensive when i do.... $200 sum and change at the welding supply store...
OR just not the welding supply store. Find a welding shop, stuff is way cheaper if you are friends with them.

but i have my own welding equipment... why pay someone to do something i can do myself....
Make friends. Who said anything about paying? I'm always picking up bits and pieces to practice with from the welding guys. Some of it's junk some, not so much. Now this guy I know up in North Raleigh goes on Craigslist when he needed floorplans done, and found a certified welder there, guy came out with his little MIG unit, flux core, and knocked them right out for him. Certified from what I understand, and just had the flux core unit in the back of his pickup, no special welding truck or anything, just a little side job. Think he charged around 200 or so. If you are good at welding that might be an idea, don't think it took the welder an hour to do it, floorpans were already cut out, and ground down mostly.

unfortunately my welding equipment isnt very mobile... (would like a rig that ran off gas of diesel... but that gets pricey... all my stuff runs off 220v outlets).. what i was at the welding supply store for was the stuff to weld with.... 2 different kinds of wire and a tank of gas for the mig rig...
I did make it to KCK (Kansas City Kansas) late this afternoon, and the new tires for Ka'Bluey are in the garage.
I've talked to a couple of electricians today after hearing more bad news about the brand of breaker box that we have in this house (Federal Pacific, Stab Lock breakers) Nobody has anything good to say about them. So with our tax returns, we're going to replace that breaker box, and going to ad 200 amp service, and that will also allow us to ad more light controllers for our Christmas Light Display
