Finally found the A|C leak on the preachers expy yesterday. parts are ordered, and hopefully I can knock this out. Catherine and the kids head back tomorrow, and I'm heading down to raeford the for evening later on today. Just got a couple of things to deal with here first. And a couple cups of coffee to drink.

Had to put a tube in the lawn mower tire this morning so I could finish cutting the grass. Upon the first loop around the pond I found that I was interrupting someone's lunch plans...

That was a big damn frog, I bet his legs were every bit of 10" long when he went to hopping.

 

and did you catch the froggie to have its legs??? lol

went shopping with dad today because of all the 4th of july sales today... shortly after getting chased home by the weather it took out the power... between leaving South Hill and getting to the house the temp dropped 15*.... shortly after the power went out my phone died too lol so i was sol for posting here a bit... but did work on assembling my bday presents i got today... one of them being a welding table but im gonna have to take my grinder to and cut one of the "factory" welds to flatten the nut and then reweld it so i can get the bolt to thread in... right now the nuts welded on like \ instead of flush so i cant thread the bolt into it... simple fix.. just wasnt doing it today...

then i worked on assembling the 3 1/2 cu-ft cement mixer... took a couple hours but got it done.... had to modify that at well... the plate thats on the bottom of the motor was somehow bent on one corner.. even after straightening it out i couldnt get the bolt to feed through... so had to take a file to the hole to get the bolt to feed through... after that it was good... actually spins the drum and everything... cant wait to use it...

 

Caught a couple vegans sneaking across the property today. The one inside the trees i tried to get a shot of its horns. But it moved quicker than the focus. Looked like it was either a 4 or 6 point from where i was standing

there was another buck out there when i first spotted them but before i could get the camera app up it had taken off for the wood...

 

You need someone to take care of those for you? 👀

 

nahh... they can roam around here all they want... use to see them quite often when we first got the house... then they vanished for awhile... now we're starting to see them again.... theres also a group of turkeys that walk the property from time to time...
