Jim, I understand but I'm going to quit before I get spanked.
Probably not good for a chapter leader to get in trouble with the mods!!
Wyden and Merkley have a tendency to raise my blood pressure and anger me!!!!!!
Also got my new eyeballs today. Progressive lens. Wow, these things are going to take some getting use to, if that's even possible![/QUOTE]
I got the progressives almost 3 years ago.....I could not get used to the first set, so I went back and theychanged something in the next set. I got used to them in a day or two. About a toss up between them and the bifocals I wore for years. Pro's and con's to each.

I've never had anything other than single vision. I think I may end up taking these back. It is almost like the glasses are trying to make my eyeballs work independently of each other. Like bino's when one side is in focus and the other isn't.
Walking on firm level grounds reminds me of walking on the boat deck in big waves. Moving my head from side to side is like a sine wave and worse yet, the bottom 1/4 of the TV is fuzzy, and the upper 3/4 is sharp - unless I'm standing up.
I'm really wondering if the lenses were made correctly.

Yep....that's just how my first ones were..I went back after a couple of days ...from what I was told, most people have to go back once or twice....or more. I know a few people who never could wear them and had to go back to regular glasses. Hopefully you can get it straightened out
Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Wonderful day today. Quit raining, I went out to do some stuff, started raining, so I came back in. Wait 30 minutes, repeat. 3rd or 4th cycle, gave up and crawled under the tarp on the boat and did some work on the wiring for the marine band radio. Need to move the mount. Won't fit where I want it, so I need to decide on an alternate.
Good stormy morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 42.1, wet, rain and currently a 10 mph wind. Had been running 15-20 in our hole in the ground.
Belated good morning Ford Fans.
I have got to move our weather station, protected in the backyard it recorded a wind gust of 30mph.
The fun part of moving the weather station is digging the hole in rock.
Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Off and on rain and lazy day around here. Meeting some folks at Sherry's in Mac in the morning and then going out to the Rifle Range to do a couple of things.
