Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Temp hit 97° here today.
Picked up the Wardens 380 today from the gunsmith, took it down the range and put a few rounds through it. Trigger is a little better but the improvement on the long hard trigger pull was not what I was hoping for.
Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 60.1 with a high layer of smoke from the forest fires. Seems to be clearing off a bit now with the 11 mph wind we are having.

It was the Santiago Short Stroke Trigger Kit that I had ordered for it. I had a local smith put it in for me, primarily because there was one itsy bitsy part in there that I really didn't want to mess with.
I knew that it would only take about 1/4 of the pull length away - reportedly, but I'm not convinced that it did even that much. It is still a long pull to the stage point and it is 'hard' break getting that last hump crossed. I have to get my trigger pull gauge out, but I'm betting it is in the 14-15 pound range, if not more. Warden still has some issues with the length of trigger travel and what it takes to break over the top.
Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Boat cleaned up, covered and it along with the pickup and camper are put away down in the 'south 40'. Pulled the trailer guide on 2X6's off of the boat trailer. Going to run to town tomorrow and get some new carpet for the 2X6's and R&R the old stuff that is disintegrating.
Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Up to 66 with a little bit of a high marine layer lurking of to the W and NW.
We didn't get any rain here at all. It was very threatening and I was hoping for some, but as far as I can tell from the Highway (trip check) cameras, the closest it got was Valley Jct.
Working on getting the old carpet off the boat trailer guide on bunks so I can put new on. The previous owner (or whomever did it) really went overboard using roofing nails. I'm beginning to wonder now, if I may not end up having to get some new 2X6's and replace the hole thing. Wood appears to be sound, but just so many holes punched into it.
