Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 56.5, clear and sunny. High Heat Advisory is on for later today.
Have two different doctor appointments with the VA this morning. Should be a fun filled day.
Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Wasn't watching too close, but I saw 94 on the temp clock in the car on the way home from the VA appointments and currently 91° on the front porch with 28% humidity.
A week of camping does wonders for the soul... Right up until you come back to work to several piles of poo. <sigh>
Two weeks is even better, but the pile is usually higher. I usually start feeling the pain just about the time we pull the boat out of the water and roll up the awning on the camper. Belated Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Been on the phone a fair part of the morning. Last hurdle was to reschedule a VA appointment. Mission accomplished, so now we can schedule our trip to see our Navy kids and grandkids stationed in San Diego. They already have two weeks worth of stuff planned out, but we will only spend a week down there, according to the Wardens orders for a travel itinerary.

HAHA - not everyone is fortunate to be working at 'retired". I envy those that are. Maybe someday... Looked like a god trip.
I don't envy anyone at the coast as a visitor or resident. It's why I rarely even go there between June and middle of September anymore. I'm fine with the heat. Bring it!
