Hi John.......good to see you..........what have you been working on?
Been working on my panel truck, changed out the front cross member for one with a rack and coil over shocks. It's been a lot more work than anticipated to hook up the steering. Ended up moving the steering column in hopes I don't have to change out the headers. Also have to modify the inner fenders I built...I'm still hoping to have a chance to drive it this year before the weather turns dirty..
Jim - No luck at Wilco? I loath Lowe's as they never seem to have what I need. I've also had luck at Fastenal. They will part out a package if needed.
Prepin' gear tonight and plan to be on the river all weekend. Wish I didn't have to make the drive everyday but oh well...
No, didn't score at Wilco for the 28 (NF) - had the 20's. Didn't get to Fastenal. Haven't done much with them since they tried to charge me $128.00 for a tapered bolt that I was able to get from Eagle Point for $17.98.
I've done pretty well at Lowe's. Plus they have the 10% military discount which has saved me a lot of bucks. Been a few things we've had to order, but they get them in pretty quickly. We saved over $500 on some cabinets and a dishwasher for the kitchen, and the Maytag washer we just got, between sale price and Military Discount was a huge score. Saved over $1000 on the refrigerator with the sale and discount over Costco.
Besides, Lowe's is the first place I come across when coming in from Sheridan and Bi-Mart is #2. Wilco is on the wrong end of town. I was just in Wilco a couple of days ago picking up some heavy duty chain links and snap clips, plus visiting with a real close friend I went to high school with and used to do a lot of hunting with.
Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 49.3 under clear blue skies. Staying home to work on the pickup and watch the Darlington Races. Then we can go up to the MP 33 overpass and watch the comedy on 'Death Alley' if we get bored.

Glad to see you are staying out of trouble anyway. I can see how that project could keep you occupied. Hope you get to take it for a drive soon.
Just had a package delivered by the Post Office with the regular mail. Are you ready?
Shipped from Va. addressed to the USPS Office, Sheridan Oregon.
UPS has to drive right by my house to get to the post office....I've had things sent UPS in the past that get switched to USPS in Salem, but this is the first it was shipped to the local post office and then delivered by the local mail carrier. Maybe UPS is trying to subsidize the Post Office...
Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Just getting back in from working on the pickup. Boat and pickup both need a bath, but otherwise are ready for their next adventures.
