It’s manageable most of the time, but goes out on me a couple times a year. Pretty stiff and sore when I get up most mornings but usually loosens up pretty quick.
Morning Andy. I think it went pretty well. It's with the same company, just a different location. About 10 minutes farther there, than to here at the nuke plant. A lot more relaxed, also.
Well, especially when they aren't running! they shut us down in 2016. And, with all the people leaving, they keep pilling on their jobs on the rest of us. So, I'm ready for a change, been here 19 year. The place I'd be going to is a gas turbine peaking plant. Has 2 big GE gas turbines, basically, jet engines, that run off of natural gas. They only run when demand is high.
So are the reactors off-line or being decommissioned? Not that I'm against nuclear energy, but I wouldn't want one in my back yard. Why did they shut them down? Hate to see things go off-line before end of life, just seems like a waste.
