A long, long time ago (about 30yrs) in a universe far, far away (South Florida) during afternoon rush hour I was driving North on the Palmeto Expwy (SR 826) a 6 to 8 lane major artery. Driving in the left lane in my '89 F-250 I came up behind a blue and white full size Bronco. The Bronco was not keeping up with traffic so I looked for a gap in the traffic in the lane to the right. When I got in the right lane to pass her (the woman in the Bronco) she sped up so now I couldn't pass her due to the traffic in front of me. When I changed lanes and got behind her, she slowed down. This went on for about 10 miles and then I saw my move. Coming up on the 138th steet exit she sigals to get over to exit. I filled the gap in the lane to the right that she was hoping to use, pulled up right next to her, if she sped up, I sped up, if she slowed down I slowed down. I stayed right next to her passed the 138th street exit, and the 154th street exit and then I hit the gas and went on my merry way. She had to exit about 5 miles out of her way onto a backed up, four light change exit.
I'm still grinning!
apparently i talked someone out of buying an 06 6.0 over the weekend...

friends looking to replace his rusting away & falling apart old truck... his first question was what bulletproofing was... my SA answer was "about 3-10K depending who does the work"... he was looking at a low milage 06.. that listed the term bulletproofed in the vehicle listing.. never got the link to it.. but pretty much described what all was involved in doing so.. after which decided against getting one...
tbh knowing how bad they are financially (him not the truck ownership) he really couldnt afford the expense if it ever broke down either... while im assuming he can do basic maint... i dont think hes capable of an engine tear down and rebuild kinda thing... tbh i think hed be better off with a 150 than a SD
Have you ever been driving and seen a mouse haul *** across the road right in front of you?

I have, alot since I'm driving at night often. One time as I see out the corner of my eye the rodent running towards the front of my truck I saw this guy swoop down and catch him. He then dropped it in the woods and came out to watch that I wasn't after his fresh catch. Pretty nutty really.
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh were all gonna die... just like the hole in the ozone was supposed to kill everyone in Australia... while i do wonder what would happen to the electronics... i also have to wonder which would kill us first.. pole flip or Yosemite blowing its top.. which is also well over due.. it blows its top once every 600-700,000 years... currently its been 640,000 years since its last eruption and is showing signs the chamber under the caldera has been expanding pushing the cap up, which in turn is causing the lakes in the park to get shallower.
