I’ve heard too much copper in a coil can cause changes in weather patterns. Something about flux, dilithium, .... something.

I seem to have this desire to call it “My precious”.

I think a pair of 2/0 coils farther south didn't help. Plus there were probably a few overly active L-N 230s running on the coast, too.

Just before Christmas my wife (not a GW believer) told me her nail tech and a customer who is a professor at a local university were having a long discussion about how they can no longer tell the difference in seasons due to GW. I’ve asked here twice to let me know when the Prof will be back for hair or nails so I can be there to say “this is winter”.

problem with the GW in the beginning they took a huge data sample the first year.. then after that they picked and chose the regions to best suit what results they wanted... when others compared the readings from the same set they took the first year they found that the data set showed there wasnt much of a change that would be considered abnormal.. now with all the crap still surrounding it even if the data sets started to show something abnormal no one would believe it.. we just dont know enough about the earths natural rhythms to know for sure whats too drastic to know what effects having where...

do i feel Homo Sapiens have had an effect on the planet?? yes... can i say definitively the total effect to the planet itself? no.... but we are responsible for some things that have gone on... weve destroyed forests, caused the extinction of multiple species both on land and in seas.. transplanted others out of natural habitat causing them to become invasive to other areas.. and thats just a piece of it...

Oh we’ve done damage, that’s for sure. And one little burst of a volcano can do more.

I’m of the belief too that there is way more going on naturally then we understand. Just recently we could out there’s a thermal bubble under the Antarctic, that’s not human made and may be more responsible for ice melt then anything we’ve done. We need to keep the environment a better place then we have and in that context I’m fine with improving our footprint. But we need to do those things in a factual way, not a Gore positioned sky is falling and it’s all our fault, listening to someone with a message sent from a home carbonizing more then a small town.

I agree we can do better but with all science if you want a study to come
out a certan way you sure can make it come out that way.

Then there is who paid the scientist? Don't want you money supply
cut off because your did not say what the money man said. <<< ( Non-PC with the word MAN.)

Anyone recall the ice age we were to be going into in the 70's?

My profs at that time were harping on the ice age, running out of petroleum by end of the century, and overflowing garbage dumps and nowhere to put anything. We may still get there, but .....
