Most of the BIG signs are down near the house and I have not made a run
east in a while. I really should take a drive to Spokane some time soon.
But the last time that I was going south the person at the check point
was more of an @ than the US border guards ever have been.

Then there were a couple of sweethearts that could make you feel good about interacting with them.
Did you get it dried out so you could use it?
P.S. At least you did not have the mess I saw on I-90
one year. The truck lost it load and it was smoking on
the side of the road. How much do you want to bet that
the driver dumped it because it had been bailed green.
Looked to be one of the jumbo bails too. All over the side
of the freeway, and like I said Hoe enough to be steaming.
that mess to the horses so it went into the used bedding pile. Told my boss/owner and he was ok with it. To be able to go back to that kind of days. Just school and no
other big worries. Well I did have a few horses that were my direct responsibility. And every Wednesday was roping night and dealing with the cows was fun even if you got
abused by the stupid cows every now and then. But the money was good and got better when you did a good job. We got tips and a % of the pot for each go round. The only time
we (young persons) weren't allowed to help was the time they tried bull tiding. The beasties were not the friendly sort. Well unless you had food to toss into them.
But all in all that is where I learned to ride and care for the larger critters. I also got my horse that way too. Green broke Arabian stallion that had been turned out to a
paddock with nothing to do. Boy Oh Boy can I pick them. Just went about it like he had never been broke in the first place. Lots of hours of just handling him and
it payed off. The first time I put a saddle on him it was a bet. That one did not end well. It was ok getting it on him and me in the saddle. BUT then he went BOOM!
But I guess I like a challenge a d so I was hooked. I talked to the boss and he gave me the OK to try.
I got tossed a few other times and various other things including the bite on the arm. Stupid cat at home was in heat and it turned him on. He was sniffing me and had never
tried to bite before and never again after that time. But what he did was try to take a nip out of my forearm (Brachioradialis) It wasn't deep just a nip with THEM BIG teeth.
Long story LONGER he turned out to be a good horse and I even got to ride him in one of the Sea-Fair parades in Seattle. Was really fun even if I was sitting on a fully intact
Arabian Stallon. They can be a bit skittish but the day went well and he behaved with only one issue and that was he through a shoe on the back street going back to the trucks.
I hopped off him and checked the hoof and all seemed to be ok and I picked up the sue and walked him back not wanting to cause any issues with a missing shoe.
Night everyone.
not give a DC rating.

It depends what you’re trying to cutoff. If it’s the starter, you need one with a big honkin rating, like 800 amps. If you’re trying to disconnect power to the cab and other electronics, you can do that from the drivers battery connection with a 150-200 amp switch to be safe.

its for my new winch.. the instructions not really specific on its draw but it listed it required a 650cca battery to power it.. since im running the wires to the rear i wanted to have a manual cutoff switch under the hood near the batt to shut off the feed to the connector when not in use. wiring it with 2/0 cable if since the winch know it alls said the 2ga would create too much resistance over the long run to the rear.
What I was saying is that if your using a switch that does not have a
DC rating you will have to de-rate it. You will have to look at the data sheet
for the switch to see what the DC rating is.
Here is a different way to go about hooking up a winch.
You can also make a jumper cable set with the plug on the end instead of clamps.
