2017 Tips & Tricks
If you're on cruise control and tap the + on the steering wheel, it will increase your MPH by 1 per tap. If you hold it down it will go in increments of 5.
There are 2 indentions under the center console lid, they will snugly hold 2 pens in place.
If you go in to your settings in the SYNC menu, you can change to where the cameras will shut off after 5 mph. This helps when backing in a trailer or a parking spot.
Tap the center button on the left side of the seats (5 way switch) to instantly turn on the seat massagers. This helps when you don't want to take your eyes off the road.
If you have push button start - get out of your truck while
it's still running with the fob in your pocket you will hear 2 honks. If someone gets in your truck it will not shift out of park without the fob in proximity.

* You can disable the double honk annoyer with Forscan
* IMO, it's hard to believe that Ford didn't program the trucks to not be able to be driven if the fob is not in the truck. If you're not in it and your truck is running it can be stolen right in front of you. The good news is we can program these trucks to have Secure Idle using Forscan.

Does this mean that if you go into drive, the 360 cameras stay on? If thats the case, where in the settings menu is this?

Yes. I can navigate through the menu in a couple hours when I get to my truck and tell you exactly but off the top of my head - I don't know.

just press the camera button when in drive. You have to be going less than 5mph I believe

A simple thing I stumbled onto.........there is a small hook on the fuel door to hang your fuel cap by the lanyard so it doesn't rub the paint while your getting fuel.

Since there seems to be some confusion on this one, the Fart Button aka Exhaust break.
One press and it turns on the exhaust brake, it will always slow you down at any speed and continue to slow you down until you stop.
Two presses and it turns on Exhaust Brake (Auto). This is like a reverse speed control. Tap your brakes at say 55mph on a down hill slope and it will keep you within 55mph +/- 2 mph for the entire descent.

If your running your truck around and want to stop, but don't want to shut off it cause it will give you the double honk. Its a pain, as i turn on the Exhaust brake everytime I start it and other settings because I dont want to have to turn it all back on again each time. What I do now is shut truck off close and lock doors and then remote start if I want to keep it running for cooling ect, if you start it right up on remote, it will keep the settings like remote start and cooling going, but you don't have to listen to the double honk like you would leaving it running and exiting. All security is fully in place as well.

Deactivating Seat Belt Alarm
Parking brake 'ON'. Wait for seat belt light to go out (30 seconds to a minute), attach and release seat belt three times (within ten seconds), after light comes back on, attach and release seat belt one more time. Light should flash.
