Same deal here, I guess I must have leaned up against something that put pressure on the fob. I came out in the morning and both windows were down, no wind so the snow was still sitting there, frozen straight up. I thought for sure someone had broken into the car. That is the strangest feature :-)
Yes you are correct and I did :-) right after it happened. I have also turned off the rain sensing wipers, the lane departure alert, the easy in and out feature. I really find some of the options useful but there are others that no doubt I could have left behind and never missed them. The power tailgate would be another one. Damn option bundling costs you a fortune, to get one thing you want ... you need to take a grocery list of things you don't :-)
When you place your truck in park and turn it off, the seat and steering wheel if equipped with electric steering tilt, will move to a position to assist in getting in and out of the truck. Once back in the truck and key on, the seats and steering wheel will return to their programmed position.
I turned mine off because I just open the door and fall out, no assistance needed.

Thank you, that would be nice to have. Is the only way to turn that on is with Forscan?

I can turn mine on and off through the driver screen/cluster. I believe it is the tab all the way to the right, then go to advanced settings. It should be there at the top of the list.

Might be mentioned already but for the exhaust brake if you want to have it default “on” when you start truck
-key on/engine off
-wait for cluster to finish start-up (may not be necessary)
-push exhaust brake button once
-press ok on steering wheel (may not be necessary)
-key off
Just a heads up for guys that dont know about a "rivnut" tool. They put an alum inum threaded insert in an area that doesnt have access to the back. Or any sheet metal. Nothing you can hang the truck by, but better than a sheet metal screw
Again, light duty stuff. This was the biggest one in my little howeowners kit. But you can take stuff in and out easier than having a nut behind to hold
