It's the same concept but different vendors use different filters. Riffraff's "inline canister deal" performs the same function as the Racor PS120-02 which performs the same function as the Baldwin BF1212 spin-on filter (which came with my kit originally). They all have advantages and disadvantages and cost differently so it depends on what you want, how much you want to pay for it, and what comes in the kit (if you buy one instead of piece it together).
